After watching your channel I visited Nin's shop in October 2020. She gave me the best haircut I've had in Thailand and one of the best I've ever had. Very meticulous and skilled. And a wonderful person. Our loss is the UK's gain. I wish her all the best.

Jason - how do you feel about the safety in Pattaya? Would love to travel to Thailand. Also - will an American passport do the trick? Or do you need a Visa. Love the videos by the way. I got my ears cleaned in Chinatown NYC by your recommendation and it was great

The immigration officer at the airport will stamp your passport giving you an automatic 30 day visa on arrival. You can extend that by another 30 days if you wish by going to the Thai Immigration Office and paying about 55 - 60USD. Pattaya is generally safe, there are probably much more dangerous cities in the USA. The most common dangers in Thailand are road traffic and inebriated and belligerent foreigners. Stay away from areas crowded with drunken idiots and be very careful crossing the road and you should be ok. Be respectful towards Thai people and don't raise your voice and get involved in arguments with them, the culture is different from you're used to. Pre-pandemic, millions of people were visiting Thailand (including Pattaya) every year and the overwhelming majority survived and had a good time.
