Filipino Street Food Tour! Underrated PANSIT PALABOK in QUIAPO MANILA? CHEAP Street Food Philippines

- Food tripping in Manila is not complete without paying a visit in Quiapo. Located in the heart of Manila, it's where you will find the famous Quiapo Church and do some bargain hunting. And the best part is trying the local specialty dishes that Filipinos look for on a daily basis. From simple noodle dishes, to a Filipino Chinese ham, to one of the most famous Pansit Palabok in town! Paps Carl of the Chui show took me to the delicious food spots early morning and we feasted on the following:

Correction.. Excelente Ham has been around since the Spanish times.. deserving authentic Chinese Ham.. and the quinta pancit palabok has been around since the late 1930s early 40s..

Pancit Palabok is a noodle dish with shrimp sauce and topped with several ingredients such as cooked shrimp, boiled pork, crushed chicharon, tinapa flakes, fried tofu, scallions, and fried garlic.
There are other noodle dishes that are similar to this. Pancit Luglog and Pancit Malabon are the ones that come close to the taste and appearance (the only difference would be the noodle and some ingredients as well as some preparation steps).
