I think they’re stunning. The colours are bang on. I felt a bit of colour was missing from the first LG2’s. Loving the green and gum. Entered 4 raffles, hopefully I get a pair.

I noticed the matching fit too; I hope they release it but I'm doubtful as I think it would've been a concurrent drop.

I don’t think they will be… doesn’t look like spring summer 23 will be a release (guessing a lag from covid)… I wonder if this should have been in there and is a sample maybe 🤔
I thought about getting another Todmorden and bleaching it, a girl I know who works in fabric and stuff said it could go white or pink!
Ordered mine today here in New Zealand at 12 noon from Adidas NZ, $220, they all sold out in under 3 minutes, this is a seriously hot shoe so anyone wanting a pair, do not sleep on them, they will disappear in 0.2 seconds flat. I will of course be putting some green laces in them, because that's just what I do ;-)

Managed to bag a pair too. Excited for them to arrive. I entered a couple raffles too so I was hoping none of those came through after I got a pair
I actually met Liam a few times.
1. In Soho NY. I was there to see Oasis, Lemonheads, Doves, Kasabian and Jet at Across The Narrows music festival October 2005. He walked up the day prior and asked where I bought my shoes. We ended up walking to the spot and spoke a bit as he sifted through the shoes on the wall. He spotted me upfront the next day, pointed, and said “Nice Shoes” before they opened with Turn Up The Sun. It was a cool experience.
2. I met him a second time years later in Chicago when there to see Beady Eye. I was there with the Missus and a friend. Liam recognized me and asked hadn’t we met before. I said Soho shoe shopping. He said “That’s the one” and we took a few photos. The Missus lost it a bit, and the fans around including my friend erupted. Respect.
3. The Missus and I saw Beady Eye in my hometown. We were down front, and Liam pointed me out. He stepped offstage to shake hands with fans. He stopped at the Missus and kissed her hand before giving me the soulbrother handshake. Respect.
I passed on the NG and the first two LG drops. The LGs were just too white to rock, and I wear my shoes. I’m entered in one raffle for these. I don’t know whether or not I’ll, but nothing will top the times we met.
I’m slightly disappointed in the quality of the gum used. They, maybe, should have used some of the higher grade semi-translucent stuff. But this one is fare more wearable than past drops.

Personally I'm not 100% convinced by them yet but I'll probably enter a raffle lol I don't think I'll be gutted if I miss out but they are nice enough.
For me, i think that spzl has lost it's way a little bit. When I look back at the various releases over the years I was either lucky enough to get maybe 4 from 6 that were released or even every pair in the drop. And if I didn't get everything I wanted there were still pairs I would've liked. The last couple of drops I think I've got 1 or 2 pairs and wasn't bothered about the rest. I know that it's not just made for me and it'd be a dull world if we all liked the same thing but in my opinion there's definitely been a shift away from when they started.
Saying that, I am still a supporter of the range so let's see what happens and in what direction they decide to move.
Yeah we are all different… the last full drop I only got 2 of the shoes cos none of the others fit my style really… but then that’s the beauty for me, don’t need to have it all.
I do really like these (and the previous version) though. They can be worn with almost anything in my wardrobe

I'm very excited for this release! First LG shoe that is dropping in my country, Mexico. Safe to say I'm over the moon! Hopefully can bag a pair since I love how the green stands out amidst the white. Awesome video as always Dany and thank you for making me want the pair even more! Have a good one

Surprisingly, I was able to snag them
through Confirmed even though I live in the States. For people (some perhaps football oriented ;) that like models such as the City series, its way harder to find it being raffled in the States. I am surprised they even raffled them here. Liam always had a big Adidas collection that resonated with the Casual subculture. That being said, these trainers are what Liam thought was a better C.P Company x Adidas “Italia” trainer. The similarities are obvious. Also obvious is the fact that Liam Gallagher most definitely owns a pair of Italias

Just had my delivery at 10 this morning and I have to say beautiful is an understatement these are more lovely than life itself I think there's about 5 different pairs in these,there's PADIHAMS,CPs,OG COUNTRY,AND GAZELLES,all in 1 trainer absolutely wonderful I can't think of a bigger and better word to say,just amazing absolutely amazing and I did have 2 just sold 1 pair cheap enough for someone else to enjoy so happy days

I seen a photo on Instagram of the 2 LG2 shoes sole to sole, although one wasn’t directly lined up properly. It looks as if they’ve shifted the stripes forward by a good few mm’s and shortened the foxing on the instep of the new ones. Anyone else noticed that? I don’t have the original pair to compare.

@@theannexejust looked at the photo again. Definitely. The first stripe on the LG2 first pair touches the the heel suede on the instep, on the new ones there’s about a 5mm gap between first stripe and heel suede. Wonder why they’ve done that.
I like the second one the best, then first and this last.

But we all know anything with that muppet singer's name attached (and I use the term singer very sparingly), is going to be £120+.

They are over-priced massively when you add up the material and labour costs.
Everything in the world has gone up in price though… add in how much to ship product around the world etc… I think it’s still just about ok myself

Companies always profit more at every opportunity.
it's like energy companies, getting us to save electricity by using less and being more efficient, because they cannot provide enough for everyone, yet instead of our bills going down, they sneakily increase standing charges from 9p per unit to 56p per unit !
They are making much more of a profit even though we are using less !!
All companies are the same, and Adidas are no different.
Great video!!! Im a true size 9.5 butI wear a size 9 in my triest and hochelaga supers. I am 9.5 in Sambas ogs. I have a narrow foot and like a snug fit, do you recommend I go 9 or 9.5 for these?
The triest fit big for me… I’m a usual 8 and these fit perfect. Honestly I’d go usual size

I honestly don’t know why it’s different… cost to make the tongue the same can hardly be anything… must be a reason, and it’s not a deal breaker for me but can see why some might think it’s odd
I like Adidas and SPZL but there is no way I'm wearing a pair of trainers with a picture of his mug on. Even without his mug on i'm still not too keen o them. I love the Lothertex and these have the same material on the front but not all the way around or black. I have bee hoping for sone new Spzl (late summer maybe😂in November ) with spzl sitting and in half price sales I can understand them getting some money from Oasis fan boys. As you can tell I will give them a miss but I know lots wont. Enjoy.

Prefer these to the other two. Totally agree re how they will be wearable. The 1s are so impractical. Up there with my end Paris in being the most pointless in my collection because you are paranoid that anything will ruin them.

Those soles are too uncomfortable for 2023. You can't walk around in these. There is not enough layering for 2023. It only sells in uk and because there is a celebrity face stuck to them. That is the kindest I can be towards them.
