This is so good if its taken care of and bundled into a brand, and taken care for the small details and maxed to it’s functional capacity it would be ideal to have this than an sff with a case, it will serve the smart sweetspot that is missing in the market. Love ya ❤️

Hopefully all of Beelink's PC will come with the slot as standard to give the dock the best chance it has to succeed and let Beelink differentiate itself from the rest of the Mini PC makers

This is a semi-niche product.. There are plenty of people like myself that it will serve white well, given our use cases, which aren't entirely unique... In my case, needing a very full-featured ultraportable pc with plenty of ports, which I can take with me to work, but still has the ability to be the gaming machine I want in my down time. I work in software development and my work includes both pc and mac testing. Sure I could get a lightweight laptop, but the more powerful ones would be heavier and may require me to take with me the power adapter also, which sort of offsets the weight advantage, but more so limits it as a purely work machine, which makes it a deal breaker. And there's no way I would buy a gaming laptop that has a dedicated high-end GPU, which would be massive and much heavier. It's unfornate the wifi isn't as good as it should, but my router sits on my desk behind my monitor, so I'd be wired directly to the router.
Your suggesting that an SFF is a better solution might make sense if you don't plan to actually take it anywhere with you. An SFF is indeed a far more elegant approach but it sort of defeats the point of portability. They're certainly smaller than a full desktop box but their only gain is to save deskspace, not provide actual portability beyond lan-parties. For day to day portability noone carries with them their SFF PC day-to-day. It's going to be a laptop, or mini-pcs like this.

In your use, would you have a dock at work and a dock at home and take the PC between the two? Or do you mean have a dock at home to game with and just take the PC to work without a dock? I agree, definitely better than a gaming laptop with an external power adapter.
I also never really though of taking a PC with me other than a laptop before. What would you main reason be over having a PC at home and one at work? Keeping everything offline on 1 device?

@@joshuaspires Thing is I don't have an assigned desk at work as the company is on a hybrid model where everyone is required to come in at least twice a week. The desks are shared "flex seating". The stations have height adjustable desks with dual displays. We have lockers for our personal items and peripherals left at the office.

I agree, I don't see the point of this system.
