    The father was preparing his son to become like him that’s why he taught him fear by telling terrifying stories just like how the kids grandfather did to his father now if we think about this it’s pretty ez to know that the past generations was a cycle to create actual monsters

    • @MihaelLawliet01
      @MihaelLawliet01 4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      I was raised on horror movies and horror stories. I even play and enjoy horror games. I've never once hit someone let alone stabbed or hurt anyone. I don't hit my girlfriend, hell, we don't even yell at one another. I've never once actually felt the urge to hurt someone. Reality =/= Fantasy. Healthy well adjusted people don't confuse the two, only those with mental illnesses like anti-social personality disorder do. There is NO correlation between these things and serial killers. Violence in games, books, and movies doesn't create violent people. Further proof of that are countries where violence is heavily censored, like Japan, you don't see their crime rates dropping to 0%. Mental disorders such as Anti-social personality disorder leads to serial killers not violent stories, games, or movies.

    • @giovannirafael5351
      @giovannirafael5351 4 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      @@MihaelLawliet01 That is just not true, not every killer has mental illness or even anti social personality disorder, stop trying to make people with mental illness look like monsters. The comment wasn't even saying that, it was talking about how exposure to violence since a young age can make you a violent person in the future. There really is little evidence about correlation between exposure to violence in fiction and the development of violent behaviour, though do note that studies are conducted on ADULT people, that's why censorship exists, for God's sake. Besides, your example was really really bad since Japan is indeed one of the less violent countries in the world. Anyway, just came here because I felt really hurt by your whole mental illness demonising. Most people with mental illness are not violent and the vast majority of violent people don't have mental illness. I myself have a personality disorder and I never hurt a person in my entire life. We already suffer a lot without people's prejudice.

      @@MihaelLawliet01 i think the comment was just saying that this, fictional, family has a process for making the men into "monsters". Thats not to say that we saw the entire process, or that we know it. While violent games and fiction, alone, certainly do not cause someone to be violent....thats not to say that violence cant be used to influence someone. Someone who has a healthy support system/family will view fictional violence or fear very differently from someone who doesn't have a healthy support system/family, aside from any mental illness.

    Excellent as always. Your short horror work is always so much better than almost everything else on this platform. I’m looking forward to what you do next and what opportunities you should be given from this short. Great job!

    You are subbed sir. My god where has this and "Face Your Fears" been all my life? Literally millions of dollars go into mostly boring and predictable Blumhouse films that you forget after ten minutes leaving the theater and you managed to beat them all within 15 minutes. I hope you keep making movies, they very much deserve the awards my man

      Dad is a serial killer, from a long line of serial killers. Likely mom found out, wanted to go to the cops, so now she's chained up in the basement until dad decides to kill her. And now kiddo is well on the road to also being a serial killer.
