Is the power pack removable from the tray, and can it support itself when raising/fully raised? I'm assuming it would fall over due to the guy holding it the whole time. And the weights seem to be too close causing each stack to lean out/loose? Otherwise, it looks like an awesome model and I cant wait to get it, hopefully in ALL crane livery
Hi @cranedude07, thank you for your questions! The power pack is removable from the tray and can support itself indeed. The stability of the powerpack is an important characteristic we have implemented well. Despite the fact our instruction guy is holding the powerpack, you’ll be surprised by the stability when you see it in real. Also, for the weight blocks, the centrings are designed so well that the stacked weight blocks will barely lean out.
WOW!!! This functionality is even better than I expected! Can’t wait to get it!!! 😍🥰 Maybe if you supply two keys it will be faster and more realistic, raising leveled. Excelent work!!! Hope to see many novelties at the Toy Fair... Keep it up guys!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Great vid and awesome model! The weights need to be stacked differently though lol. Stacks of 4 10t all the way around then split the 2 halves diagonal from each other.
Given how tedious it looks to alternate back and forth to raise and lower the counterweight/power pack, I kind of wish you'd been able to figure out some kind of gear mechanism so that you only had to use a single screw to raise or lower both pistons. I'm not sure if the interior spaces would have allowed it though.
.. Markina is right, if the two keys are included, it will surely be the only model to have this realism; I also hope very much that the steering of the wheels will also be realistic! the steering of the wheels is very important, gives even more value to the model; I expect the James Jack Lifting /or Boom Logistics version, my favorite!
1/50 scale. But you don't do mass scaling like that. the scaling for mass is actually (1/50)^3 or 1/125,000. So 800t at 3m scales to 6.4kg at 6cm. I am fairly certain the model will be able to do that
Yes, please please make the luffing jib and don't just make them in limited quantity like the ltm 1500 and 1350. It's impossible now to find 1500 and 1350 jib. Please keep putting them out.! thanks!

will there only be an boom for sale as a transport simulation? thank you

It is scaled 1:87 so can this model lift 8,6 tonnes also!?
its 1:50

Nice model, but no erection platform?
verbal instructions with the video would be a lot better than no audio.
As someone whose seen the real machine.. those stacks were bloody painful to see splaying out...
Please tell me WSI is already planning for a luffing jib!!
