    It's a damn shame we only got half a season of Mahomes/Kelce/Hill/Hunt in 2018. Just imagine if that core had managed to stay together a couple more years. We'd be talking a potential threepeat MVP from Mahomes and a potential for a threepeat champion Chiefs squad.

      Shut up bandwagon '3rd best' Thats better then you Mahomes is a future star and will always be.

    • @Dex000x
      @Dex000x 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bandwagon? That doesn't even make sense. As far as mahomes goes, it's nice to dream, isn't it?

    • @wiggz2254
      @wiggz2254 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Why do you hate mahomes hes a star player just cause he had a up and down game against denver doesn't mean he sucks.. Wait till next season and we will beat your stupid bandwagon team.

    • @Dex000x
      @Dex000x 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't hate Mahomes. He was a good QB in college, and his undisciplined play didn't have much of a downside against that level of competition, but no one knows how he'll be as a pro. There is zero chance he lives up to the hype Chief's fans are spewing. They're not used to drafting 1st round QB's, and their naive take on his talent level is idiotic. How he's a "God amongst Men" in the NFL when he wasn't even a God in college, is a leap of logic a lot of desperate fans seem okay with, but it's going to all come crashing down because he's never shown that kind of talent.
      He's not Elway, he's not Manning, he's not Rogers... He's not a star player. Maybe some day, but all he is now is a good QB who came out in an average QB class, and he wasn't even the best prospect. I think he's on the same level as Chad Kelly. Good college QB, great arm, mobile, etc... He's not as accurate as Kelly, but his arm talent is slightly better, and if he can unlearn the bad habits he had in college, he has a chance at being a legit starting franchise QB along the lines of a Derek Carr. He won't be as good as Alex Smith last season, but he'll be more exciting to watch.
      Other than that, we'll have to see how he plays when other teams have film on him, and when he's not going against a majority of backups and 3rd stringers like he did against Denver last season. Right now, all the Mahomes hype is just the the pretty little wishes of desperate fans who are tired of being embarrassed by their team. After he plays half a season against starters, and teams have film on him, and we see how he reacts to the weight of a disillusioned fan base crushing him, then we'll have a better idea what he's made of.

      Yeah, I gotta totally agree with you on that, Buck Buchanon. Back then, when my man, Patrick Mahomes was first introduced to my first favorite NFL football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, I happen to notice there were more field goal kicks than there were touchdowns. But luckily, my man, Patrick Mahomes has become one Hell of an athlete to the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s got a cannon for an arm!

    I'm more than excited to see Maholmes play this year. But God damn am I gonna miss A. Smith!! You simpleton normy's that claimed he had no arm, can't throw down field, game manager, yada yada. You ignorant fans and analysts see what happened the FIRST year of his career that he was ALLOWED to let loose? Best QBR in the NFL (cheaters excluded, obvi) along with best down field completion rating; while still running the ball and "game managing". He is obviously included in this would be Superbowl contending KC team. Who is not included, however, is the actual(and literal) game manager/play caller that used Alex as a scapegoat to get a few more years. Mr. Reid, who has flaked in the playoffs his ENTIRE CAREER! We traded for a cheaper QB who can also go long. So far that's the only skill established. Even so, does he have the chemistry with Hill and Kelcy the way Smith did? No. Period. Veteran knowledge that Alex has? I don't think a single qb in the NFL has that. What Maholmes *will* do is give Reid more excuses to buy extra years in Kansas City. Everyone is doing their jobs from players to coaches to recruiters, except Reid. Who has never proved that he could ever be able to get it done. If we want to win a Superbowl then fill his big ass with sugar or cocaine before each playoff game(not entirely joking!) We don't want, nor need, that conservative bullshit he brings every year!

      HAHAHAHA. Sorry I laughed in your face but you're hilarious. Andy Reid didn't fail to score a touchdown, at arrowhead, in the playoffs, after a bye-week, against Pittsburgh. Andy Reid didn't lose 5 out of 6 playoff appearances. Alex Smith did.

      As long as we had Peters we knew we were still in close games. That guy is a turnover machine. Brilliant on the field with a tremendous will to win. Watch him in interviews and you can see why they traded him though. Looks like he thinks he knows everything. Uncoachable? I think his instincts are great, and I personally would rather have him around as a lone wolf on the field, but maybe not the guy to have around if you are gutting your defense and bringing in a new crop of disciplined, team driven, tough minded, younger players. What made him fantastic was also why he had to go. At least it seems to me...

    • @chickhicks7709
      @chickhicks7709 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look at all of his picks. They were for the most part very easy and any average cornerback in the position could do just about the same. Smart guy, sucks we let him go but we would’ve lost him anyways because when that rookie contract was gone, we wouldn’t have all of that money he wanted so he would’ve been let go anyways. We traded Peters and I think a 6th for a second and I think 2 third rounders. Two were for next year so I think if we draft good, like we normally do, we won the trade.
