Thanks for watching! I haven't made this formula without Stearic and E-Wax... I think the Emulsifying wax is a must as you're using water to activate it while scrubbing... I suggest a small test batch if you're wanting to change the recipe.

You could add coffee as a small portion of the sugar, but I wouldn't do the full amount...

I'm so glad you're loving it!! The Foaming Whipped scrub has a soap base, and the Emulified is a moisturizing Butter & Oil base.

Newbie here with a question: will the heat from the melted butters not warm the liquids and begin to melt and break down the sugars?
I haven't had that issue, typically the heated oils are cooling off when the sugar is added.

I like to cool just a bit, then jar it.

I've not worked with brown sugar, but have heard of others using it. I suggest doing a small test batch and see how you like it.
