Lake District Dog Friendly Holiday (Ullswater Heights Lodges)

Some footage from our Rainy Ullswater holiday - this is the company we used for the lodges, they are amazing! Really nice restaurant on site (dog friendly) so you don't have to drive to eat :0) This is the 4th Lodge we have stayed at of theirs and we highly recommend them.

Love that kind of holiday - we haven’t vacationed much (2 times in.... 15years) but we opt for ‘condo’ style like that seems to be. Our dogs are a little bit too boisterous for vacations so my mum dog sits for us. But that style of lodging works perfect for our kids, esp our son Sean who has autism. It’s a ‘home environment’ but better (pool/lake). I prefer to not eat in a restaurant for meals as well.

He did love the walks but not so much the being away from home! We aren't sure if we'll even do holidays with him in future (or at all since leaving him would be hard and he'd struggle with that too). He didn't eat his dinners and was an anxious wreck except on walks :0(

@@WatsontheWarrior Awww thats a shame he couldn't settle. Its a problem you need holidays but its what to do with Watson. Dogs are lovely but are tying i had mine nearly 15 years.
