Tory, I like the modifications you make to your attachment. Just a simple bolt and nut!
But my favorite is the rotating bucket. 😊
I like modifications to be able to go back to original when I'm trying to prove a concept. I believe Groundhog Equipment in Middleburg PA still has the rotating bucket in stock. All you can do is call and see if they still have one. Groundhog is currently having a sale I believe till February 16th .

Hi Tory, you put steel tracks on your other machine; just wondering if steel tracks need periodic tension adjustments like the rubber ones. Also how difficult is it to change from rubber tracks to steel ones?
The steel tracks aren't very hard to get on but I would give yourself at least an hour to install them . I have a video showing how I did it. Hope the video gives you some ideas on the tools you will need ahead of time. Let me know how you make out putting them on.

Where did you acquire the wood splitter attachment and how much?
I got this one from Groundhog Equipment in Middleburg PA. They were running a special on these and if you call tomorrow be sure to ask about getting your Gardner's Groundhog's viewers appreciation Discount. I don't want to give out any prices because I'm not sure if the first load sold out yet. This was one of the first ones offered in my video. I would just call and see if they have any left over. These are very affordable and I think you'll be surprised at the price. I believe you can even swap out the cone splitter for an auger to make it a dual purpose tool. Let me know if you get one. Hi, did you add a counterweight to the BH14G-2? If so , how difficult is it to do after purchase? One of these is for sale near me but doesn't have a counterweight. Thanks.
Currently I only have the internal counter weights that Groundhog installed. I have the external weight but haven't installed it I believe it uses longer bolts in the back using existing holes but the ones towards the front will need drilled and tapped. If you call Groundhog Equipment in Middleburg PA they can get you what you need

Great video, this machine is like a Swiss Army knife. The only concern I have is how well it does on a slope. My driveway is sloped toward the road from the house and then from the house down to my garage. I also have a 100 foot hill I would have to go down to get to my back yard but not to steep I mow it with a 60 inch zero turn. Thanks for the video. God Bless
A slope will definitely present a challenge to any mini Excavator of any brand . If your definitely thinking about getting one look for ones with expanding tracks and a longer track base which will make you more stable. You should look at the ZH24D-2 to get a better idea what I'm talking about. Another thing you could do is head over to Groundhog Equipment in Middleburg PA and get some seat time on an excavator to see if it's right for you. Call ahead and make an appointment. Nick Hackenberg will give you some good advice and he has some slopes there to give you a demonstration.
