  • My hybrid ALICE LCE system is blended with the PLCE yoke used by the Danish military. This system is functional and is close to being a complete system for all my conventional LARPing needs.

I bought a 3 pack of those Danish PLCE yokes and I've been experimenting with them. This is awesome.

Great idea. Can you show how you did the inside padding?

Nice! I did mine all Alice with a nylon h harness. But to carry more mags I came up with a pretty cool side slung pouch set up. Set it up with a leg strap so it cant swing out in front of you. If you wear it under your 782 gear the pouch itself hangs below the web belt. That way if you have to move fast like in pursuit of a retreating enemy, you can drop your web harness and you still have 6 mags to run and gun with. And your much lighter therefore faster.

great video mate! ust a quick thing, as much as im a fan of the electric tape for fixing stuff, and it may be you know already but its just hard to get in the US, but for tidying straps and stuff away, id reccomend sniper tape/scarpa tape, we get issued it here, and its great for that and many other things, cant reccomend it enough! either way love the gear and the content!

Grip tape, the type found in sporting goods stores, for wrapping the handles of hockey sticks and baseball bats, is exceptionally useful for wrapping and securing and metal hardware or loose straps.

What model mag pouches are those? I have some that look exactly like that, but won’t fit 3 Gen 3 Pmags, only the old metal mags. Have a bunch of Gen 3s but they’re too tight a fit in my pouches. US ALICE pouches, genuine GI. Nice system, and I found some worn out beat up Isopads for about $20 to make that LC-2 belt comfortable. Very utilitarian and zero thought to how stiff and uncomfortable they’d be on a long hike.

Finally got around to watching this; nice rig, homie. Your older videos helped me set one up perfectly for myself. Let us know how she does in that sweaty Arkansas jungle when it heats up!

So how do you feel about this vs LBV vs PLCE? I have all three and I like the PLCE Best but I can’t run it with my go to Alice pack. I may have to revisit the Alice but using the PLCE yoke.

I have similar. No mag pouches its for hiking mine is. But i use a plce belt and a mix of PLCE and Al8ce gear. No plce harness. I use an Australian harness which has extra D rings on it. So ot can be 6 8 points of suspension or more. Depends on the pouches but its easy to use extra strap and a slide buckle

How come you don't include the butt pouch on your belt? Do you use this with a ruck of some kind?

I had pretty much the same idea. I think that you are disregarding the need for sustainment in the field. If you are in a situation where you have to ditch your pack, you will be burning lots of calories and just some electrolytes will not be enough to keep you going. I think you should put a buttpack on the system.
Let me tell you about my own design. I live in Europe and I managed to find a source for really cheap pieces of the PLCE system. I paid around $3-4 for the webbing. I used it as the basis of a Frankenstein lbe that I am still modifying. I started with the belt from a swedish 304 webbing, which allows me to set up the belt for my waist if i'm only wearing a t-shirt and I can quickly expand it so I can fit a thick coat or even armor underneath the webbing without having to adjust the pouches. I use one of the 304 pouches on my right side and a molle SAW pouch on my left. beyond that I have a full size molle medkit, 2 canteens (one titanium, with a cup, and one plastic) as well as a buttpack I maade myself. I will buy some proper nylon and make a new buttpack because I made some mistakes with the design of this one because I was modifying an existing piece of gear that turned out poorly. I can also mount a PLCE hip pad, but I don't like how much it makes some of the pouches stand off and I haven't noticed any substantial rubbing due to the alice clips I used to secure some of the molle pouches so I will probably keep it as is.

Put your med kit in the back and utilize a camelback. But that’s a nice setup. As far as food, tortillas and peanut butter, can be put anywhere.

    • @JackkDevil

Also, from my personal experience camelbacks get hotter in the summer than cantens, can froze completely in winter and can not be passed around fast like a simple water bottle.

That universal location crap started for untrained replacements in ww2. That is irrelevant for trained people that know what an IFAK is.

I didn't serve. I fulfilled a contract to perform as a government hammer. Military service does not equal efficient, intelligence, or universal tactical understanding

Thats right. Zero service. Don't need to be in to know the truth. Getting offended about the truth is the first sign of an ego attachment

Thank you. In Alaska the alice gear was like 5 bucks a piece regardless of what you grabbed. Now SAW pouches are 30 and ammo pouches can go for 25. Ridiculous.
