    Very motivate bcz I am also a recruiter and I am also planning to come but confuse . whether should I go for Digital marketing course or HR programs. Very very confuse. Bcz in india as a recruiter job is hell if u r not good with good companies and MNC.

  • @MO8O8DY
    @MO8O8DY 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It was such an honest and well structured interview. I am into HR as well. I have 8 years of experience with MNCs in India. Predominantly, my experience is into HR business partnering. I have limited experience with recruitment which was in the initial stages of my career. My PR process is almost in the last stage and it had got stuck due to COVID for last two years. Tentatively, I might be ready to fly in another 3-4 months. Just like Amit, am keen on having a long term career in HRBP and not very much open to do recruitment for a long while. However, I would be very much flexible to take it up as a launchpad while I procure CHRP certification and get more internalized into Canada as an individual and a professional.
    I have three questions:
    1. If Amit's CV was all about HR generalist profile essentially, how could he even get calls for a recruiter profile initially?
    2. While he gave an interview for the third firm was CHRP enough to get that interview call as his canadian experience prior to that has been into talent acquisition completely?
    3. Am from LGBT community. Is there any Diversity hiring in HR?
    Would be thankful for pin pointed responses to the above in anticipation. More power to you both!!

    Hello,
    Thank you so much for this video.
    I wish I knew this information 4years ago. Like they say it’s never too late . I am a candidate who landed on health care industry for staffing , all these years felt like I am one of the odd persons in the group as I never knew the medical terminologies. I am glad with all the experiences I have received being a staffing coordinator. Felt so stressful at times due to the nature of the job but I learnt many good life lessons and felt really glad in doing job .As I am unemployed currently looking to apply only for recruiting jobs. It is been more than a week now still not a single response from any of the companies .
    I am glad that I came across your video.
    Many thanks 🙏

    I am a software engineer. I had a great job in banking domain in India. But after I came to Dubai, it took me almost 9months to get a job.. So, never loose hope. And just keep learning. I learnt everything required to suit most of the jobs in my field. I used to read the Job description and make my resume accordingly, so that i can fit in. And atleast my resume gets picked up. I got very limited calls, like 4-5calls in this whole time. I cracked many interviews, but sometimes i was over qualified, sometimes it was a junior role. I also did kind of unpaid job just for experience here. Finally got a good paying job after 9months.
    Finally, I am working in one of the leading Govt company here from past 1.5year.. We are kinda happy here. But due to lot of uncertainty in jobs here, we are thinking of shifting to Canada or Australia. But again I am thinking alot as it will be very far from India.

    Being in HR, do you guys think changing job frequently after coming to Canada would not affect the profile? Will a recruiter think twice before approaching you? I am sure in India it's not good for your profile. What do you guys think?

    • @chitchatwithshilpa
      @chitchatwithshilpa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Being a recruiter, I always encounter such profiles as in Canada, its common to work on fixed terms or short term Contracts, part time, seasonal or weekend jobs. Recruiters call you and ask you the reasons of changing companies. If you can justify, its OK. Here its very common to hire new people for short term and lot of people work only on such roles as these kind pays higher than regular full time. I hope you got the gist.

      We completed our process without the help of immigration consultant. We can't say which immigration consultant in Dubai is good but would love to guide you in your process if you need any help.

      @@chitchatfamily Thanks alot bhai. I applied twice for study permit & got refusal both the times. I'm planning to apply third time and now I'm looking for a good trustworthy consultant in Dubai as the first two time i carried out all the procedures and paper work by myself referring to the IRCC requirements.

      Nova Scotia or New Brunswick both are good, specially because the PR process is quick for students and both are the next hot job market after Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
