Thank god for any nerfs. This world record video was awesome to watch / mad props, but these sword dash players are insufferable to play against. I've never seen a lobby with a sword light dasher who didn't have more than 15+ kills in a game (that might not seem like a high number but it's always higher than the average of the rest of the lobby)
@@colinmcmasters5819not true, this just makes the distance a bit shorter. What works best for me when using emote cancel is pressing both emote and dash at the same time, then spamming jump. Then combine with sword lunge by using the emote cancel right after releasing a lunge instead of just a dash. Keep in mind emote canceling does leave you vulnerable because you cannot hpld another lunge until half way or 3/4 through the whole super jump
Wish it was more in depth this looks supremely easy and doesn't feel like much of a reward to say you got the world record in something like this. Nice taunt tech btw
it works with any emote but I use matcha point (teacup sipping one). on the other hand, if you are asking because the screen barely zooms out, that is because the later you emote, the less it zooms out until a certain point

btw works with super dash really well, but works with normal dashes too

yeah I was kinda disappointed that this was the route I found, especially when compared to the insane innovation for my terminal attack tutorial run

could this be improved by taking gas or frag? and throwing them before the enemies spawn
The cash out still needs time to be stolen so I don't think it makes a difference

you could use a grenade to kill the turret or dummy, and a ghost hit with the sword would also one shot the medium
this wouldnt improve time you still need to wait for the cashout to finish so you can take ur sweet time
