Wow! This is the first time i will see the BRK 1 type of knitting, i have one cardigan exactly this pattern; i have been trying to figure it out to no avail. Am glad i watched this video, thank you so much
Bello questo punto e fatto ai ferri da maglia è molto fantasioso e facile da eseguire, ma con molta attenzione. Bravi continuate così andate alla grande. Un bacio da Lida
Is there a difference between the way this looks, and the "Hexagon Stitch" in another of your videos? They seem to be pretty similar, except the way the YO is achieved. (I prefer the Hexagon way).
For row 3 you show it as you k1, yf sl 1 yo k1 but what you are doing is k1, yf slip one as if to purl then k1. Am I seeing it wrong? You did not show yo again after sl 1.
I wish to make this pattern in 2 colour combination. Where do I add the second colour is it after the 2nd or at the end of the 4 rows? One more query please. Do 4 rows complete one complete cycle of design
Do you have instructions on how to knit this in the round? I've tried converting it and it will show up on the inside of the knitting, but I can't figure out how to make it show on the outside.
So can I use any number or even stitches? I would like to make this pattern for a throw using #4 yarn and size 9 needles. Just wondering about the stitch count
Hi, I did a little bit of the stitch but it's not looking right and I'm looking at the directions and videos unless I'm missing something the video is not showing how to do it on the wrong side or right side and in the video, it's not saying that either.
- BRK (Brioche knit): Knit the stitch that was slipped in the previous row together with its yarn over. Because the yarn over wasn't counted as a separate stitch on the previous row, no real decrease is made. For detailed written instructions, see: www.knittingstitchpatterns.com/2014/11/pearl-brioche.html
Cast-on even number of stitches. Row 1 - Wrong side: K2, * yf sl 1 yo, k1; repeat from * to end. Row 2 - Right side: K1, * brk 1, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1. Row 3: K1, * yf sl 1 yo, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1. Row 4: K2, * brk 1, k1; repeat from * to end. Repeat Rows 1 - 4. - YF SL 1 YO: Bring working yarn to front under the needle, slip 1 stitch purlwise, bring working yarn over top of needle to the back. This produces a yarn over that crosses over the slipped stitch. - BRK 1: Knit the stitch that was slipped in the previous row together with its yarn over. Because the yarn over wasn't counted as a separate stitch on the previous row, no real decrease is made.
Beautiful, thank you ❤ from France 💐

Wow, beautiful pattern! Very easy to follow tutorial- thank you thank you!!!
Thank you for the stitch definition in the summary. This is the first time I've seen BRK 1. This is a beautiful stitch and as always well done video.
I'm glad I watched the video because that isn't technically a yarn over/YO, just a yarn forward before slipping and knitting the next stitch.
So what do YOU consider a yarn over?🤷♀️
@@sahasa8450 the "yarn forward" is the yarn over.
It should read "YO, S1, K1" otherwise the yarn over is in the incorrect spot.
Great channel. ! Beautiful stitch marvelous tutorial. Thanks so much. ❤from mexico

Beautiful stitch pattern! Are both side the same?

Cast-on even number of stitches.
Row 1 - Wrong side: K2, * yf sl 1 yo, k1; repeat from * to end.
Row 2 - Right side: K1, * brk 1, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 3: K1, * yf sl 1 yo, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 4: K2, * brk 1, k1; repeat from * to end.
