Your message to all those watching is "focus". I love it. I'm an accomplished single axle trailer guy, but it took some serious focus to get that way. I think it was made more serious for me because I was learning with livestock in the trailer.
I was new to trailering my boat when I turned into a narrow long dead end street and that's how I figured how to backup comportably my way, I liked this video message was on point.
Some more tips (I have backed everything from uhaul trailers to bomb trailers to campers and boats) Take your time, hands at the bottom of the wheel, don't hesitate to stop, re straighten and then back again. Use a spotter if you have one. Single axles are harder to back straight than dual axles. Adding extended mirrors can be a big plus. If you have a semi driving friend, don't be afraid to ask them for lessons. Practice in your driveway or at a parking lot.
Most people don't take into account that they need an additional length of wire for their lights when making sharp turns. Too short of cable could lead to pulling the plug right out the connector or worse damaging both connectors, wire harnesses, etc...
Well, thank you. I appreciate the complement. I read that trick about the steering wheel in "Field and Stream" magazine while at the doctor's office once.
The light is fine. It's the connection on the truck that is damaged somehow. When I hook the boat up to the car is works fine. after I run down the street is works fine. If you watch at the end of the video while backing into the drive way, it works fine.

Oh, that situation is the worst!
You are talking about the best way to teach someone how to back any trailer up . Good job and video 👍🇺🇸
That's what I hope to accomplish.
