Im sure putting some cheap thermal survival blankets over things like this when not in use would drastically improve the life span and most people who complain and leave bad reviews probably didnt think of that. This goes for all kinds of things put a cover on it simple and helps big time for oitside storage.Plus will help reduce the temperature fluctuations which will reduce condensation build up and gas degredation!
You were slowing your siphon velocity by leaving that large loop in your delivery hose. Is there a tank vent in the plastic tank? But it sure beats the alternative.
The fill cap has the vent in it. it was the handle just has to be pumped to get some air out of it I think. It flowed fairly decent once I pumped the handle a few times.
Use a large shaker siphon they are so much better. First no stupid safety latch crap and #2 you can see if water is going in. I give it 5 out of 10 i did work :0 In 2030 for safety reasons fuel cans will take four people to operate and 6 hands for the 7 safety latches and 1 osha approved firefighter supervisor on sight for "safety". I refuel heavy equipment everyday with clear plastic 55gallon drums and a cheap fillrite12 volt pump the original hose sucks but they do work.

Looks like it will be easy to use i like that.
Definitely need to open the vent cap for a faster flow.
The cap is vented. I will see if just taking the cap off completely makes a difference - actually going to use it later this week.
@@stevescabin5441 Keep me posted. I am looking into buying one. Thanks..

There's a vent in the fill cap.
Is there a breather/ vent that was supposed to be opened?

I have used shaker siphons to fuel up my boat. I agree - I like them. This works OK. If the handle aggravates me any more - I will just eliminate it.
This is so gimmicky 😂 you got me in the spectricide
