@@SiegfriedsMotorwerx happy year, yes they will around 2022 coming out my 2006 Dyna must go runs great. I need a touring frame. I am getting older, I retired early at 62. With covid and all the other bullshit we got coming at us, I just want to ride till I die! That's just me, first bike 1980 sporster, the second bike 2006 Dyna, third bike road king. When you retire everything changes, money, health, and way of life. Take care 2022 is gonna be a better year! I hope lol
Good video and the bikes a beauty. I'm here looking at reviews . I know of a 2003 anniversary road king up for grabs , that's only if this dude that has dibs on it doesn't wanna go through with it .
What is a Rushmore frame.....I have a 1999 road king that I'm putting a 21" tire on....I was wondering how tall of bars I can get away with putting on without having to replace cables and wires etc. Etc. Thanks
10-12 inches depending on the bars. The project Rushmore frame was part of Harley’s attempt to make the touring lineup more aerodynamic and friendlier to ride
Hey great video. I am located in New Jersey, and I am the owner of a 2000 Road King. My issue right now is the handle bars, my mechanic just finished the tune up. At 6' 3", when I sit on the bike I want it to reach my shoulder length. Can you recommend where I could get a set of handle bars for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance. .
Where'd you get your air shock? Going to be put on a Street glide. This is Joseph Tennessee they call me BBQ because the way I ride is slow. It's because I'm short and a ride real slow
Hey Tim, no custom fab or anything extra is needed to swap this wheel in 21x3.5 hard drive brand) especially when using a dual rotor wheel. Everything is a direct swap over
@@SiegfriedsMotorwerx would it be possible for you to post a link to these apes? I have an 07 RKC and would prefer these compared to the traditional apes everyone else puts on their RKs. Thank you.
Hey john, we did not do any front end adjustment, with a 21 there is no need to adjust, especially with the rear air ride. Give us a shout or message if you need any help!
Thanks for replying. Can you ride safely with the shocks completely lowered if you were just cruising around town? I understand youd want them up if you were riding mountain roads.
Johnathan Berry the answer is yes and no. When we first put the air and wheel on the bike it was still a road king classic. With the higher bags I did ride it completely aired out but I did have the belt deflection set up for this as well. With the stretched bags and extended fender I had to raise up to slightly over stock “ride” height. So if I did air completely out and ride through town the belt was to loose to keep the bike happy. It can be done just a matter of where you’ll use the bike the most and your bags. It didn’t ride terrible aired out either, for what it’s worth
Bought my 2018 Road king yesterday, I will be contacting you shortly on headers and Fish tails, coming up from Philly. Great videos, keep’em coming!
Thanks for watching and congrats on the new RK
Just bought a 2021 King w the 107. It’s stupid fast and smooooooth.
I would get the 88 or skip all the way to the 107. Plus the abs and cruise control is nice.
Enjoyed the ride, it's raining here in Florida lol I will be buying a road king and doing the same good-looking bike.
Hey J P! Did those rainy road king dreams ever come to fruition

What production code does this handlebar have?

How tall are you? and how comfortable were those ape hangers?? I can't decide if 16" or 18"
6’2” and if would put these same bars on again without question. I think 18’s would have been to tall for me
What type of air suspension do you have on the bike want one on mine
This is a kit we put together. The shocks are revalved Monroe’s
What size peg do you need if you do not want to drill out your pegs?
Great vid👍... what size wheel did you get for the rear & what size tire.

Are the ape hangers supposed to move forward and backwards
this was filmed before we switched to poly riser bushings. With that much leverage over the stock riser bushings it will sway a little

Nice looking bike.
Thanks for the kind words!

I love that name! This is an in house kit that we put together at our shop!
Did any fabrication or custom work have to be done with the 21 inch front rim

Yo my friend what style apes are those and height
they are designed for street glides and they are 16"

Would rather see you riding instead of POV.
Great info though. Thanks bro
You answered a lot of questions I had about the year differences
Did you lower the front end after installing the 21' wheel?
