That's a good idea, thanks for the recommendation. So as long as the cap off my Corona passes, I should be good to go. Doesn't get simpler then that man. Much appreciated.
Bro you are asking the million dollar question. "Pacific Blue Pearl". I looked at multiple sites (hogworkz, advanblack....) where they do color matching and you tell them what year/ make/ model of your bike and it tells you what color your bike is; but its not right. I forget where i found it but I found one place that said "Pacific Blue Pearl". I went to my local Target and found some cheap nail polish that was Pac Blue Pearl and tested it out. It matched. I want to get my bags color matched so when i go to my local shop, im just going to take them my side panel to match them to. Sorry for the story but it took me forever to figure it out.
Did you drill the fender or the fork mount 3/8 and what keeps it from falling back down over time? Thanks for all your help , im getting ready to tackle this@@Mikeityourself
If you do not drill the rear bolts out to 3/8 inch, it will rub when the tire heats up and expands, and you will blister the paint on your fender
I hadn't thought about the tire expansion. That makes lots of sense. Gonna make the change asap; been down for other maintenance so perfect timing.
@@Mikeityourself Any updates? Did it rub?
@@ZoiRen no rubbing, it's a good option.
Looking good Merry Christmas 🎅
Merry Christmas buddy.
Did you ever have any problems with the fender/tire clearance or is it still good?
@@mrslam49 still good no issues at all. Thanks for watching
Tape a bottle cap flat to the tire and save yourself the what ifs.

Thanks for getting back to me love the color , I will remember that color.
I have made quite a few trip to the target her in Baltimore.
Just wondering , why didnt you want the risers?? Is there a clearance issue??
I was worried that I could bottom out with them on once I lowered the front. I'm not sure it would but didn't want to take the chance.

You drill the fender side. stays in place just with the bolt holding it there. Definitely want to use thread locker.
Do you drill all 4 holes or just the rear
Just the two rear holes . Thanks for watching
The problem happens at highway speeds because the tire expands
Makes total sense. Appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching
That's what happened to me, it rubbed my tire above 55mph and took my paint off b4 I realized what was happening
