Hills is a great place to deal with, bought 2 complete sets, then parts to complete a bike I pieced together, very informative and helpful. Listen and pay attention to what they say about bleeding abs brakes you DO NOT!!! have to take it to the dealer to complete the task, I'm just an average mechanic and got it handled, Thanks Hills
I've found from the different bikes I've had is about 1 or 2 inches below shoulder height so your arm doesn't go numb and rain don't go up your sleeve.
Thank u for very informative videos and product info. I just ordered your 16" knurled apes with cables/ wiring kit of Amazon for my 20 heritage classic and im like a kid @ Christmas waiting for them to arrive lol.. thanks to ur videos and wiring kit I realized I could save a bundle by doing the job myself... just made sense to purchase everything from Hill Country since u guys are the ones that provided me with everything I needed. Thank u and keep up the good work👍
I like the bars shown at the 27 second mark. I have a 2016 Road King Standard with factory 10” bars. Would like to have the bars higher maybe 14” and about two inches closer to me. Last is wrist angle. Like to have them close to 0 degrees. Nice video
I keep seeing pictures of the white road king on the internet (you briefly show a picture of it), but I can’t find any information on the bars (make/model/height). Looks to be one of your bikes. Can you provide any information?
With the fixed fairing I'm assuming the 12's are just above the fairing on the side. 10's are right even with the fairing mirrors and the 14's are right at stock bar mirror height.
I'm about to own my first Harley Davidson dyna glide 1997 model and very first ever motorcycle that I have ever owned. So with that being said, having starting out riding a 1430cc motorcycle for the first time riding a motorcycle is not going to be easy when I have to learn how to ride my bike and I'm use to riding dirt bikes and bicycles and mopeds and scooters etc and Tom I make the official trade for a dyna glide motorcycle and I'm searching for tips and info on everything I need to learn before I ride away in the wind.... Lol I'm super excited but I got many questions about Harley Davidson motorcycles and do you recommend anything for us beginning on Harley Davidsons. Who should I subscribe to and follow
I have a '13 fat bob and getting bad neck pain about 50 miles into the ride. Been wanting apes. But a buddy told me to go with a different seat 1st. What should I do? I'm 6'2" and the bike is stock. Please help and if you could send a link
i have a 95 Honda Shadow vt1100C spirit that i ride everyday to work its a little bit of a ride what kind of apes would be best i go thru some tight curves
Appreciate it fixing to order some brake and hydraulic lines from you guys. I’ve ordered a set of 16” Yaffee Monkey Bars. Your videos are a big help to us all.
What we need know also is slow turn mobility. What height does it start taking affect of your slow turns, if any. I've heard some say it's hard to turn especially with 16" bars.
+Carolina Rider it certainly does change it, but it’s not any harder, your still going slow. If anything, once you figure it out, it makes you a more confident rider. And that makes it even sweeter. Just my 2 cents.

Good control
Another great video. Very informative. Have you already done a video on making a single disc front brake into a double or can it even be done?
+Country Life It can be done, but it’s complicated. Much easier to go from dual disc to single disc. What’s the idea you have in mind?
Excellent. Blessings.

Necesito ayuda donde puedo comprar el kit para una kawasaki vulcan Classic 1500cc

i have a 95 Honda Shadow vt1100C spirit that i ride everyday to work its a little bit of a ride what kind of apes would be best i go thru some tight curves
Hey there im thinking of some apes for a 2001 RoadKing Classic im 5 foot 9,should I go with 12in, 14in. Thanks
Hey, I have an older electra glide with the anti dive in the handlebars are there any 12 apes for this style??
He looks like the punisher if he found a career instead of wanting revenge
What do you have for a suzuki boulevard c50t
If I get a set of 16 in ape hangers for a 94 Softail custom can I use my stock clutch cable and throttle cable or do I have to buy cables too?
Most likely you’re going to need cables and wire extensions. 16” is a big step up from stock. Good luck!
I have a 1999 road king , how tall of apes can I get away with before having to change cables and wires etc etc. ..... thanx
None
@@turfguy420 what do u mean none?....
I was told 12" at my Harley dealer, and a buddy who out 12s on his 2020 RK, who works at another dealer..

That video should be renamed, handle bar buying for dummies
🛑🛑 Know Your State Laws 💯!!
I saw cops measuring bar heights in Ocean City MD, last year; handing out tickets.
ape hangers equal poor handling, anyone who says diff is clueless or not being honest.tellin ya

Don't.
Nah... They ruin the long, low effect of the bikes.
