    Since I fix medical carts at hospitals, I looked through a lot of videos and I was trying to figure out what i could do about lugging my milwaukee packout around the hospital. You've got something I can work with. I hope I don't get in trouble riding this thing around the hospital.

    Cool , I was tired of lugging stuff out to the beach, that was the inspiration for mine.

    I live in an apartment so I have to tote my wagon a block or two to where I can work on my projects.. I'm getting older and it's already in the high 80's in Orlando (end of May) and l was looking at my older Radio Flyer before pulling this up. I like it..

    Funny I did this as my final project for my engineering degree, After pulling my son around I was like well there has to be a good option. I used an electric skateboard off amazon as my donor for the controls and motor.

    That would be great for pulling parts from the junk yard and putting them in the wagon. Even a car engine could fit in a heavy duty wagon and you could easily move it. Thanks! I wonder if I could take it to Walmart and ride it around the aisles and pick up my groceries.

    Batteries from power tools might be a good source too. They're high output cells and you might already have them. There are resources on how to create a 3d printed receiver for them.

    After the last beach trip and pulling our wagon loaded with beach stuff I’ve had it. Skinny wheels, fat wheels…..it doesn’t matter. It’s a miserable slog no matter what. I’m determined to make something work. There HAS to be a better way that doesn’t cost over $1000. All I want is a high torque, low speed motor with an option to disengage the motor to tow with a golf cart. An electric direct drive bicycle motor might work.

    Looks like the link to the motor has been updated to include the Throttle Handle and controller do you have a model of the motor or an updated link?

  • @ajg34
    @ajg34 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Genius! Just subscribed. I planned to do this but want to know if the wagon is still “freewheeling” when the motor is turned off? Meaning, will it still roll smoothly if the battery is gone?

    I'm going to try using a single Dewalt 20V drill to power 1 axle for a salvage-yard parts wagon.

    • @robne6712
      @robne6712 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have electric golf caddies that do just that. I would think if you found one cheap enough you could rig the sensor and electronics to anything

    • @waltsreviews90
      @waltsreviews90  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is, the easiest way is to go with weaker motors like 12V, also you can modify the throttle or a potentiometer to have a upper limit, so that it only gives it say 10% or whatever speed fits walking.

    What I don’t understand is why you need to controllers and the reason I’m even watching your video is I have a tao tao electeic 36v 4x4 and i bekeihe the speed controller broke cause the motor is spinningnon its own out kf no where when jt has power
    I went to change it and noticed there was one bugger brushless controller and a smaller one somehow commected together to make the bike work
