Thompson agreed to a three-year, $50 million deal with the Mavericks, marking the end of his career with the team he started with. This news has been heartbreaking for many fans, especially Filipinos who have supported the Warriors and this trio, the foundation of their dynasty since 2015.
As a Warriors fan since 2017, this is hard to accept. It's like seeing your favorite groups or couples break up, showing how much we can connect to sports. But what can we learn from this?
