Fyi you can do the beet cut directly from a silo into the cutter and back into the same silo. Took 5 min to process 200k liters of beets. Cutting beets will give a 50% boost to the price vs uncut beets.
Is there actually a benefit to cutting the beets? I've tried it out, and it looks like I lose about 49% of the volume when I cut them. Given that you go from 2:1 to 5:3 (20% increase) ratios when converting to sugar, that means you're losing money for all your extra work. Prices for just selling, instead of converting to sugar, only look marginally better.
@@titaniumdiveknife OwO They're called clamps. Dump it in a pile, cover it, and release it to the sugar plant a bit at a time so they don't tank the price on everyone.
So they removed the hall/loading system we had in fs2013, and now the only way to store them is by throwing them onto the ground and us a 350k machine just to PICK THEM UP?! (I already had the train silo full of potatoes)Or do it with a bucket and spend the rest of your life doing that? 10/10 dame design
Can’t you also refill the sowing machines with the palletized sugar beets, effectively saving you quite a bit of money by not having to buy seed pallets, as well as recycling your sugar beets back into the process of growing more of them?
I use the silo mod that allows you to store anything, then use a beets augar wagon to unload into the cutter while the cutter is sitting over the silo... cuts its straight back into the silo
I was going to make a tutorial, just like this one Moose. But you beet me too it.
Jesus, wtf is the internet coming to when no one up-voted this.
Ahahahhahaha beet me to it hilarious
You can put the bucket under the auger and then pull trailer under that. Turn the machines on and you cut and load at same time

First thing off, super kind personality. First video here, subbed.
Good one everything I needed to know great video WITH NO MOD's
There are also augerwagons to cut beats with.

Great tutorial! Any advantage whatsoever to palletizing sugar beets? Do they sell for more? I like the new cuts feature.
More realistic. Nobody likes floor germs.
@@titaniumdiveknife IRL, most sugarbeet is just dumped in shallow pits before loading.

You didn't give the location of grain mill south 😂 my game keeps telling me its in the middle of field 25 and 28 but there's nothing there!!!

No, sugar beets grow from seeds. Potato sowers can be refilled with potatoes, but beets don't work the same way.
@@AlRoderick That's exactly how I filled my potato planter in FS17.
FS19 had a potato ban. Too much headache.
what do you do with bales of cut sugar beets?
what vehicle did you use to attach the ruby 2000?
Is there need to plow after beets harvest?
Someone please help me. I'm new to the game and I put my beets in a big truck instead. I can't get them out 😭
very helpful, thanks :)!
Have you done a tutorial for cotton ?
What about bales of sugar beet cut
Very helpful but the color of the field is red not Orange LOL
i have done that but it dosen’t work??
Very hard game
I know that this is not the right tutorial but how do you put straw in the small horse pen?
Sugar "Beets"???
I’m looking forward to the mod that lets me make cut easier. That would get old quickly.
My plan is belt into the cutting bucket straight into another belt. Still awkward, but less painful
There is a mod available right now > 'Beet Cutter Silo/Factory'

@@alexmcd378 Nice workaround!
6:45 man really said "throw some beats on the ground". He missed a trick. He should have said "drop the beet". Very dissapointed
So that tiny little bucket is the only tool to cut beets 😡 what a joke grrr
IKR i dont get it. Not really worth cutting them. I have a huge field of beets. I'll just sell them uncut. Pigs eat them too.
@@ZenAlloy I have half a million litres, sugar coming out of ny ears ha
@@ZenAlloy there's a great mod that has a factory where u put in water and sugar beets and it turns it into sugar beet cuts automaticly
I'm from Belgium and my last name is... wait for it... Beets lol...
