Please do more of Avenged Sevenfold , so many great songs still to uncover. MIA , Sidewinder, Blinded in Chains, Fiction, So Far Away, just to name a few
Yes, sorry I'm a year late haha, but FYI, the drummer is Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) drummer, and he helped A7X to finish recording the Nightmare album,After they lost their drummer (the rev), and the rev idolized Mike Portnoy,
Love the reaction! Just FYI, the song is about the stages of grief. Agony, rage, "is it something we said?" is like they're questioning their loss... and finally sadness. "Tonight we all die young" hits me hard cause the drummer was their best friend and they felt like every one of them has died a little that night. You must listen to all Nightmare to have a full perception of those times. But I love the reaction as well, you're sensitive ♥︎
You two are beautiful people. Thank you for the experience of hearing the song for the first time through your eyes. I love you both and wish you nothing but the best.
Thanks very much for reacting to this one guys! You're so right that it can feel very 'busy' first listen through and actually took me many listens to fully appreciate. There's another song on the same album called 'Fiction' with lyrics that sound very much like a suicide note, so although there are mixed views I believe the drummer ('The Rev') did know full well what he was going to do....
Nice to see this song being reacted to in such a great manner, excellent request and delivery! The drums on this record (and this song) were done by Mike Portnoy, a well regarded drummer in metal especially as the ex-drummer of Dream Theater. If you'd liike to hear more of Mike's suberb drum work you must listen to some Dream Theater, for example their most popular song 'Pull Me Under' (not the music video as it cuts 3 minutes of the song, but a lyric video).
I like your a7x reactions guys! The fact that you’re speechless at the end is not surprising. A lot of people that react to a7x have to cut at the end to gather their thoughts. Keep ‘em coming ❤️
Love this band. They’re great! Afterlife is still my favorite. First song I heard from them and still ❤️. if you haven’t heard it, you should react to it next 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Rev the drummer, surely knew hes heat condition could end hes life sooner yhen others, and i think you could see that in hes personallity as well, he might was sad alone sometimes, but he was always trying to make people around him have as laugh, and did have such a great vibe, also was a unique buddy for the band R,I.P Rev.. The last lyrics, Tonight we all die young, is mainly used for live play, as the crowd take a moment to remember Rev, and be with him.. we all die a moment to be with Rev.. Its very clear the band lost a true friend here..
If you want more background information on this song and how it was written and the process of recording the music, check out the band’s TH-cam page. They have a behind the scenes video on the making of this song!! Do yourself a favor and check it out
100% A7X is a 1 of a kind. One of my favorite songs. Love ❤️ your reaction!!!! One one best live bands ever!!!!! Other favorites songs of mines The Wicked End Blind in Chains Simulation Paradigm Fermi Paradox Radiant Eclipse
I love Rammstein, A7V is a close second. I love the "chaos" you've mentioned. The rhythm changes. That's something I first heard listening to Black Sabbath and since then I fell in love with songs that have such rhythm changes.
Honestly, Their most progressive song, and their best. Mike Portnoy absolutely killed in this song. Though written by The Rev, Portnoy improvised a ton here, especially the fills and hi hat sections. Rock on!
Please react to fiction by avenged sevenfold it was the drummers last song he wrote before his passing I personally feel it was his goodbye to the world
You guys should absolutely react to "Avenged Sevenfold - So Far Away" Their guitarist was originally writing it as a tribute to his Grandparent who passed, but it shifted to become a tribute to REV after his passing. th-cam.com/video/A7ry4cx6HfY/w-d-xo.html Beautiful.
R.I.P TO THE REV
That's the beauty of their band. Each instrument plays a song of their own
"It's chaotic, but it makes sense" is definitely a valid opionion.
The line “they say that all beauty must die. I say it just moves on” followed by that intro guitar piece gives me chills every time
11:00 i agree with your wife

The way the girl in pink described it was perfect, i loved the way she said it, perfect chaos that made sense

This Song and Fiction are songs the Rev was working on before he died…They Still use his Lyrics to these and many other songs in Live Concerts!👍🤘🏻

Eu não acho que ele sente medo, parece uma revolta, mas uma revolta melancólica. Ótima reação ❤
