You wing it so well!! I love watching your cards come together. This card is beautiful. OK, so I admit it, I double-order. Could it be because I'm ancient? Nope...no excuse. If I could start card making all over again, I would create a spreadsheet of my supplies and check it before ordering!! But I didn't do that, so OOPSIE!! Love your videos.
Stunning card and wonderful technique!❤ I have ordered doubles and sometimes triples of products on purpose, especially if I know I need to make multiples of something. The time when the doubles are on accident, they are most certainly happy surprises. If the item isn't something I'll use more than once, I pass them along to another creator with a card to let them know I was thinking about them or for a birthday present. With the hurricanes and flooding in the southern United States, there are many crafters that lost everything, including craft supplies, so I've gathered up many of my extra supplies and sent packages to them to help.
Awesome card, Natasha! I have double ordered when i didn’t review a shopping cart to see that I had listed it twice. A nice customer service rep. emailed me, then removed it from my order. Another time I accidentally ordered 2 of something and gave 1 to a friend. I have also been the recipient of a duplicate stamp order from my cousin. We made cards for each other using the set.
It's gorgeous! Here in the States we call it an eclipse card. I often buy multiples, especially when I really love something. I probably would have gotten several of these, used the remaining strips for another card, and then kept one for myself to enjoy. 😁
Wow you have such stunning supplies Natasha! Love the transfers, and that technique. I don’t think I’ve seen that one before but it looks amazing. Must certainly give it a try. What a gorgeous card. I think I have on occasion accidentally double ordered and thought ‘Oops’. Oh well! It happens to the best of us. Lovely card again 😊🩷
Very pretty card, and fun technique. I have ordered duplicates in the same order, and I’ve ordered duplicates in separate orders because I will forget what I already bought! LOL. TFS 🙏🌸
Love seeing old techniques resurface. This one makes me want to make some flippex cards again. They were always so well received, especially for brother / sister twins. Look from one angle you saw a boy, from the other you saw the girl. Worked brilliantly with interference cardstock too, so blue or pink depending on viewpoint. I must dig out my old templates...
Oh and in 40 years of crafting I have never ever double ordered. Simple prevention is never put anything away in a drawer until you have used it at least once. Then you remember what you have. I always make swatches about half the size of an index card , of stencils, embossing folders, etc. put them on a ring thingy with 2 thick pieces of card at front and back and attach some elastic via eyelet or staple. I split stamps into categories, stored in double laminate pouches, stamp a sample sheet of the stamps, so you have them conditioned ready for use on projects , to store in pouch and include stamps that fit more than one category stating where they are stored. Scan the sample sheets and you have an easy way to check before buying. Same with die cuts and press plates etc. Its one thing to buy consumables twice, but the amount of times I heard crafters moan that they had bought brass stencils , then when they put them in drawer they found they already had one, and the reason they forgot was they had not even used it. Out of sight, out of mind. When we hand embossed backgrounds, cut out passepartout cards etc. I always made a list of template numbers so I never ran the risk of double buying, and could buy templates that complimented each other.
I love doing eclipse cards, however mostly I have only used wording, will have to try this. Love your card. Hope you are getting some amazing weather like we are, much luv. ❤
Simple but effective! Love watching your videos Natasha, because mostly we feel like we can produce equally lovely cards - thank you and Happy Christmas!
Thanks for that. I still have rub on sheets from 20 years ago. We used them to get foiled look sentiments and on parchment which we then embossed by hand to get 3d look quicker than decoupage. Although they looked miles better than the tacky peel off stickers we used before clear stamps, they could bea bit hit and miss. I will definitely be using your tip.😊
I've ordered dies. Dies and stamps combo, and then i go thru the things and say, yep you did have that. I liked ir so much I ordered it again.. not really. I'm always doing it at nite and tired or in a hurry. Thats not when you do it. Love this card. It's similar to a card I've done and was fun. Will be saving this one too. Going to try it with stamping an image.I don't have rub-ons. Thanks for Sharing. Great one again. Always enjoy.
Good fun, Natasha! I’ve been guilty several times…purchasing something “new” only to discover the same stamp, die, or whatever in my stash!!! I have a friend who’s happy as she gets the extra ones! And this technique is so good…will try it once my Christmas projects are done! We have a postal strike happening across Canada right now - no mail in or out - so I’ll have my cards ready for next year - earlier than ever!! Cheers!
Again a beautiful card so effective. I am giving card making a break till after Christmas but i have taken a screan shot and most definitely will try making and using this technique. Thanks for sharing x
Could also use patterned paper or scrapbook paper for this technique. And yes, of course I’ve double ordered. I’ve done it several times with Nuvo Drops. My grandchildren benefit from that as they get the second one!
Catherine Pooler’s customer service is really great about checking on ordering two. Everything is so expensive and I really appreciate them checking. Unfortunately, I have mistakenly ordered two too many times!
Beautiful card Natasha! If you had accidentally ordered 3 of those, you could have got 2 cards and used the other strips up too 😊❤ the background rub on is gorgeous
It might be easier to get the slices parallel by rotating the oval after the first one so you could line up a straight edge against the grid. As usual, this looks fine here, but I know I'd benefit from making it easier to align.
I would love to have your brain for just 24 hours! Each of your ideas are exquisite you explain things so well!! This last video is a perfect example.

I have a stack of dies & stamps l’ve double ordered. I “sleep shop.” 😜
I think we must all do this . We should send each other random doubles lol @@debschurby1574
@@debschurby1574 I love that term Sleep Shop!

I have definitely ordered multiples by mistake! I use them if I can and otherwise I share them. ❤️ It’s good to have crafty friends!
Yep 🖐 that's me too! I double ordered because I had forgotten that I already had it in my stash. Beautiful floral card.😊☕
Aside from your amazing cards, I love your sweet attitude ❣️
I have double ordered so many times. Yesterday I received two candles instead of one. It’s okay. I have an extra Christmas gift to give.
Beautiful cards. I’m so happy to know that I’m not the only one to accidentally order duplicates!!
Stunning card! Would never have selected that background. It was amazing!!! Thank you!!
What a beautiful card. I had to smile when you said about duplicate purchases...some how I've got 3 speckled egg distress oxide ink pads!!
That's so funny, I must admit, I had a giggle! 3 ink pads! Well you'll not be running out of that colour anytime soon!
Thank you Natsha for this technique and yes quite often have purchased double of items mainly dies.
Your cards are absolutely beautiful Natasha!!! TFS

Absolutely gorgeous. I love this card Natasha. I order duplicates more often accidentally than purposefully. I’ll use it eventually 😊
Natasha, this is absolutely gorgeous!

That looks so easy and it’s so different. Thank you
Just so beautiful as always!!
Gorgeous card ❤
Simple but effective! Love watching your videos Natasha, because mostly we feel like we can produce equally lovely cards - thank you and Happy Christmas!
Beautiful card.
One thing I will add that I learned from Anna Griffin, is to run the rub-on through your die cutting machine for an easy and flawless transfer. Lori
Beautiful! Can't wait to try this technique, thank you for sharing!

I love the effect! And many times I have ordered duplicates. But never has a company messaged me and asked if I intended to do that. 😂
