First time playing The Walking Dead Telltale
The Walking Dead is a fantastic show lead by Rick Grimes. Now it's time for Badd Medicine to dive into The Walking Dead games. The zombie apocalypse in the state of Georgia. Most of the characters are original to the game, which centers on convicted criminal Lee Everett who becomes a protective figure to a young girl, Clementine, and must help her find her parents.

To answer the Answers questions (lol )... i went w Nick over Pete since Pete was bitten on the ankle & he kept yelling he has ammo & no way as a 10/11 yo girl I was thinking I'd have the strength to cut off a man's leg if that was a presented choice. Also I just played it kinda more even & cautious w Rebecca. Can't recall the words, but whichever indicated that u knew her secret. Yall did great. The decisions are gonna be tougher so I'm here for every choice u make!❤💞❤️

It’s an angry fed up line. How you going to lock me in the shed. I know walker bite means death. I shot my not dad! I hated this whole group but then I chose at the end of this episode to go with Nick. He became my new Kenny for a bit.

Clementines voice actor is Melissa Hutchison, she voiced clementine in season 1 as well, she was almost 40 when recording this game, she’s able to manipulate her voice so well.
Seeing the BTS stuff where she talks normally and then does her "child voice" is almost uncanny lol

I'm SO happy with Oak's dialogue choices with Rebecca, that was my favorite part of my own playthrough!! So satisfying lol

Lol I love it when people confront Rebecca on first playthrough.
Also during the house hunt for medical supplies, you can also meet Alvin and he gives you a juicebox for comfort. During the stitching you can treat yourself to some juice between procedures to calm yourself.
Haha I remember the reactions people would have on reflection when they (slight spoilers) learn of her situation and find out how sweet a lady she actually is. Saw so many people blogging and tweeting gifs screaming and collapsing. It was so much ahaha
I don’t think I could get through the stitching scene without taking a sip of juice every 5 seconds. It’s so funny to me for some reason

at season 1 the game showed various signals she was pregnant, some dialogue between omid and christa, she being nauseous on some scenes etc
The most obvious one for me was when she originally refused the alcohol when they were trapped in the attic and Kenny gave her a surprised look 😅

RIP, Omid. He was awesome, always so positive, and he was the only one who was allowed to swear in front of Clem. Even Lee wasn't allowed to do that 😭💔 Also, the doggo turning on us always breaks me 😭 Poor pup was just starved, can't really blame him. But I'm with you, I thought we'd have him as a companion as well. I can't wait to see episode two next week! 💪💚

1:26:28 Romans corpse. It's unfortunate that a lot of the characters were barely included in season 2 and some were just abandoned. (Not going to spoil who, just a lot of people forget Roman.)
The majority of playthroughs I've watched did choose to make the "Whose baby is it?" comment lol. Clementine can be absolutely savage in this if you want her to be 😆
No matter how many times i watch it, the dog scene is still painful to watch. The build up of friendship only for it to end like that, you cant blame the dog for being a starving dog and you cant remotely blame Clem for defending herself. It just..... Was, and you feel terrible for both of them. Kind of a perfect metaphor for the zombie apocalypse, the total cold unfairness of it.
In the original script for this season the dog was actually supposed to last longer than that. I think he was gonna be with Clem til at least episode 3

There was actually a true story of dogs that were starving in a house and they finally got out and started eating one of the ppl alive that left them starving for a month
It’s more common than people think. I’m a mortuary student. I’ve never seen it personally, but have heard many stories about pets eating parts of their dead owners before they’re found so they don’t starve. Happens mostly with the elderly or people who don’t have a lot of folks checking up on them.
@@skyofthelivingdead no these ppl deliberately were starving these pitbulls so when they fought them they would be more vicious and the police showed up and was giving warning shots and everything they didn't care they were hungry tired of being beaten and locked up and when she came the two pitbulls just attacked her and was eating her she lived but was missing a lot of parts it's sad bc those dogs were just starving and they were pushed to far the police had to end them the officer cried bc he understood they were tortured

It never happened, but Robert kirkman wanted clementine and negan to meet, where clementine would give negan a gnarly scar on his side that you can see in the comic books

Seriously like I get it's because she's the protagonist so you have to do the bulk of the work but the things this group will expect of this little child and the uncharitability they afford her is insane lol
It is kinda wild how a group of well-armed and supplied adults is so threatened by an unarmed little girl with a dog bite. I know the apocalypse is when the ugly of humanity comes out but JFC, they were pretty trash for treating Clem with immediate aggression. I’d like to think more people would be like Luke or Pete; rightfully cautious and skeptical, but not cruel.

@@t-rex537 Yep, the dog was starving (a state that can cause almost any animal, no matter how docile, to be more aggressive) and, while I don’t blame Clem for not knowing better, she wasn’t handling food around it in a safe way for a dog she barely knows. Eating food out of your hand is something you should only try if you already have a trusting bond and know that the animal can be gentle (even under not-starving conditions). Her grabbing the can away likely prompted a resource-guarding behavior; the dog thought she just took away the food it finally had access to and that she wasn’t going to give it back. If she could’ve dumped some of the food onto the ground or into an old dish for the dog to eat while keeping physical distance from her, that would’ve been much safer for the both of them
@@CasualCat64 the reply under you already explained it in depth but that dog had every reason to do what it did and can not be blamed for it, Clem was too young and inexperienced to understand that a starving animal will naturally be more aggressive she also pulled the food away which just made it 100 times worse it's nobody's fault this is just a scenario that exists because of the world they live in

This season is SO good! That stitching scene is absolutely brutal and we now get to see Clementine a little bit older than she was in season 1 and starting to make decisions for herself about who to trust and who to be a savage to (Rebecca deserves it, she's being an absolute shit to this literal injured child). Looking forward to seeing the next ones!

Watching these men play this game has me flat out nearly screaming. But it’s 3:00am. So I won’t. But damn. Everybody but Answer played like bogus. Add another death to Oaks tally. Inverted or not he literally couldn’t move around enough to see anything. Swirl around like a new gamer if you have to!! I cannot WAIT for episode 2!! Almost two hours went by like that 🫰!! Facts. If you can’t rib with your buddies, it’s not even worth it. My late bff and I used to regularly clown one another, but we were also always the first to gush about how amazing the other was. Very sisterly.
One reason I love Badd Medicine IS their dynamic with each other, it’s a comforting and hilarious reminder of good times with my bff.
I hope once you guys finish the walking dead, you play the wolf among us which is also by telltale, many people to this day have been waiting over a decade for the second season which is still being worked on but has been delayed over and over

I was so excited for this ever since they finished season 1
They left an 11yr old badly injured, bleeding out and open to infection in a cold barn to see of she would turn into a zombie because of the bite, she literally would not have survived the night and turned anyway, that group was very dim witted ngl
I’m late to this but SO excited!!! This and #4 are tied for my favorites of the series. 11 year old badass Clem is the best. Can’t wait for you guys to see some of the fantastic moments to come. Also, even though I’ve replayed this game so many times since it came out, you made some dialogue choices I’ve never seen, which is cool!
The most realistic and great thing about this game is characters don’t go out on a blaze of glory they die a natural death which makes it more realistic
Ehhh, I can recall at least one aggravatingly unrealistic death, though.. which lessened the "realistically, people just die, no blazes of glory" thing and made it come off a bit like the writers were too eager about being _that_ and writing in deaths that they forgot about some basic laws of physics.
No spoilers, though. But man do I wish that the few things they did totally ass were better. Would've made it such an A+ game. Aghh.

It only gets better from here! Season 2 is peak The Walking Dead. Easily one of my favorite seasons of the entire franchise across all series.
One thing you guys may have missed that can still apply to the show: In S1 E1, you meet Shawn Greene and see his demise. In the show, he is one of the walkers in the barn, confirmed by both Hershel, and Maggie, who even says his name. I haven't read the comics, but I think this is the case as well?

I understand people’s frustration towards the group but from their perspective, they don’t know Clem. And I’m personally not risking my family and friends as well as valuable resources for some girl in the woods.
I think it rubs a lot of people the wrong way because she’s a young girl. Most people’s natural instinct is to protect an infant or child no matter what, an instinct that has evolved with humanity over millennia. So it’s a bit jarring when an adult leaves a kid to fend for themselves.
Also, a doctor should know the difference between a human bite and a dog bite.

The dog attack is shocking the first time around, but logically it should be half-expected at least. Let's face it, you just snatched food away form a hungry dock who has no established relationship with you at all. That dog's gonna operate on pure survival at that point and go for who took its food. Anything else is basically expecting a hungry animal to think like a satiated human being. But, yes, the initial response is definitely a shock.
