It was the extra power pack, Steve had 3, and his friend had 4. Yet, later in the episode, Steve restrained him with superior strength. How about that.
Barney had both arms and legs, but his mind was unbalanced. A former race car driver deprived of his celebrity. Steve was a military man, disciplined and capable of following orders.
Steve wanted to serve his country and for the betterment of all. Barney was self-centered and he just wanted fame and the spotlight. With no care for anyone else.
So glad they didn't spoil it with overdoing the bionic sound effects(which they did later on....in the flashback,in a later episode)...of course they used none here.....sometimes less is more!
I put the audio from the scene where they were taking the medal case back and Barney went crazy on those guys in place of the audio here. I added a few bionic sounds where appropriate. It came out pretty good.
Good episode. Barney had both legs and both arms, hence the extra mil. Unsatisfying ending when Hiller was powered down to normal strength at the end, to preserve his sanity.
I have to say that I don't remember this specific episode even though I watched the series faithfully. It was brilliant the way that Barney pressured Steve to arm wrestle him knowing what the outcome would be. Loved the close up of Barney's blue eyes and smirk. He enjoyed playing with Steve's strength as evidenced by allowing Steve to move his arm so that he was close to being pinned before using his superior strength to force Steve's arm back into a neutral position. He also allowed Steve to do the same knowing full well that his strength was far superior to Steve's. Also liked when Barney pinned Steve and shattered the table. It was cool to see someone stronger than Steve.
@Science Fiction Station: A great clip. Please may you show when Steve takes the Seven Million Dollar Man on his first mission (the Seven Million Dollar Man in action) and, also, the battle between the Six Million Dollar Man and the Seven Million Dollar Man in this classic episode.
@@GaryBurkey-p6r they switched it to Barney Hiller. Not 2 confuse it with the TV series Barney Miller. Played by actor Monte Markham(Barney) now age 89. Such a memorable character.
@ only Hal Linden(Barney Miller) age 93 Max Gail(Stan) age 81 and Barbara Barrie(Elizabeth Miller) age 93 r the only living Barney Miller cast members left. The rest r all deceased.
I'm 55 years of age.
I still have my six million dollar man action figure ...in the box.
Majors gives his single expression a workout here.
I had the doll with the single expression eye.
My grandmother thought it was odd for a boy to play with a doll, maybe she was right.
@@VictorMaxol I had that doll too. I'd look through the eye and go 'Boop, boop, boop.."
🔥🔥🔥
It's Wild Steve, it's Wild !
It's not the same without the taa na na na na na na sound.
I was like wth is going on here.
It was that extra million that defeated Steve !!

This was a great setup and scene. Genuis to have them arm wrestle.
Brilliant episode 👍👍
This video should have been called : The Six Million Dollar Man vs The Seven Million Dollar Man (In an arm wrestling contest lol)

ME TOO!
Silliness at its best.
2 minutes of dramatic music while they make faces and their arms barely move... classic. LOL

His name is Barney Miller, shouldn't he be in New York as a captain of the police station? 🤭
Good observation.

@@jim6820 Max Gail still kickin'.
Love me some sitdown armwrestling.
What about the classic bionic sounds? That was totally missing.
I love watching this as a kid six million $$$ man what happened to remake ?
The series changed his name to Barney *Hiller* later because of the TV show.
Then to Benny hill...

Barney Rubble after the table smash.
Barney couldn't deal with being bionic. He was a head case.
Yea but this dude never had to fight bigfoot! I can't believe I used to love this show. But in my defense, I was 9.
You and I are about the same age. This was my favorite show lol.
Steve should have juiced up!😅
Too bad Barney didn’t have a bionic liver to process the excessive amount of alcohol he consumed
This is longer than the original scene.
Steve shoulda said I'm a leftie.
😂 His left arm is not Bionic! This should have ended with both Bionic Arms shooting sparks sounding like fire crackers at most lol 🎊🧨🪅🪅🪅🪅
😂 His left arm is not Bionic!
Steve's left arm was not bionic however both Barney's arms were bionic.
@@seanmc7128 I was wondering about that.
@apb38 yea that's why he cost seven million dollars. Plus obviously he's a little bit stronger than steve
Steve should have tried a hook.
its not the same without the bionic sound affects.
I guess they also had bionic hair. Those are bad rugs
It passed me off when they made a stronger dude.
😂 put the sound effects in
this other osi agent could not handle the power....
High 70s drama
That’s troutman from Rambo
Is it ?
@ no is stand corrected it was Monte Markham but wow him and Richard Crenna are doppelgängers
Nice ❤
Exactly what does this clip have to do with the Detective Squad of the NYPD's 12th Precinct?
