For young people with whom I work who have this issue, I always tell them not to wear any pair of shoes two consecutive days. This advice has worked in every case.
When you take a shower, you need to need to soak your feet for several minutes submerged in water. A quick shower will not properly clean and take away foot oder.
When I was a teenager my feet smelled, but a combination of things helped me get over that: I have two identical pairs of machine-washable shoes that I alternate between, never wear shoes without socks, and walk around in bare feet at home when it's not too cold. I have a pair of leather shoes and I will wash and dry my feet right before putting on those shoes. I also use teatree oil soap whenever I wash my feet.
I’ve noticed that my merino wool-synthetic blend socks don’t have a smell really at all, even if they don’t get washed right away. But I’ve also seen at least 1 study that found wool harbors more bacteria than cotton. 🤔
We have been touring open houses and let me tell you: nothing stinks like the master bedroom closet 🤢and people’s shoes! Stop worrying about lighting candles in the kitchen and address the foot odor in your shoes! 🤣
In our country we have a small wooden shoe rack with a glass door where we all put shoes. In the rainy season it will smell too badly whenever we open that glass door.
When I come home from my stand up shift at work I put a drop of Dawn dish soap on Body wipes, wet with water. Wipe then dry. Especially between toes. I apply Vicks twice a week. And other two days organic coconut oil. On my bottom of feet. When ready to sleep.
I discovered Lume whole body invisible cream deodorant while working twelve-hour warehouse shifts, and it prevents body and foot odor even when body is covered in sweaty clothes and feet are trapped in shoes 15 hours. Now, Lume has whole body deodorant with sweat control, so even better.
I massage my feet with rose essential oil diluted in organic coconut oil and I keep them extremely clean . This helps to relieve my stress and that massage helps me to sleep well at night
I'm required to wear steel toe shoes at my job and in the summer months, the odor is much worse, especially some co-workers. This is not my first time dealing with foot odor, but this shoe requirement is new for me. Not everyone can switch out their shoes, especially when steel toes are expensive and we wear them on the daily. In the past, wearing shoes without socks is a bad combo for odor for me. Dial's gold antibacterial soap always works wonders with getting rid of the odor. I have never tried benzoyl peroxide, but I just started using it recently for my body and will have to try on the feet. I have also never tried deodorants down there, so I want to try these tips since summer is coming. Thank you! I've tried different socks, foot powders, and have gone through 3 different work shoes that all have odor. There is only so much you can do. Properly cleansing them is the most effective option for me. Taking those stinky shoes off and letting them and the feet breathe as soon as possible is also helpful. Cleansing the feet properly before switching shoes is also essential to not spread it to other shoes. I also used to soak my feet in eucalyptus bath salts before washing with antibacterial soap.
Once again Dr. Dray. thank you for talking about this subject. When I was a kid I had horrible, sweaty, smelly feet. My mom made me soak my feet in bleach. I know, yuck. As I got older, I made sure i have multiple pairs of shoes so they dry out in between wearing them. No more smelly feet.
Even when I do not have these conditions, I love learning from you. In case I do get them (hopefully never), or come across people that do. I also find your presentations so interesting. Not a boring lecture. That is almost as important as the lecture itself. 💕💕💕💕
All you have to do is have 4 pairs of shoes/sneekers and wear a different one for each day. I guarantee you your feet and shoes/sneekers will never smell even if you wear the same socks.
I wash my feet with soap and water frequently throughout the warmer seasons ... whenever my feet feel clammy. I also like to air and sun dry my shoes before throwing them in a dark closet.

Thank you for infomation. Welcome my channel ^^
For my boyfriend!!! 🤢
My crush has stinky feet. Hello sits behind me. Whenever he takes off his shoes the smell of his socks is very irritating in class. He always wears the same shoes and no ventilation holes in them. I'm very shy to say this to him. 😂
@@Aman-s6j7o Tell him put his shoes back on 😆
@@gball118 I'm too shy to tell him. Instead of that i turn around and give a cute smile. 😂

Happy Friday!
Im in my 50 and always prioritise diet, gut health, and frequent wash once a day at very least.
