engine tanker 385 (the Volvo/White) 262 the international and 212 the R685 are by far the best trucks out of this fleet....my uncle and other family are glad they served their time with these styles....aint nothing like having a computer controlled E1 and having the transmission fail while headed to a call....
Had a rural volunteer fire dept. with not a lot of fire hydrants get an older stainless steel milk tanker and filled it with water and bought a used semi to pill it. probably takes at least 6 of these tankers to hold the same amount of water that the milk tanker holds. Cost them less then what it would have to purchase another tanker. Still using it 20 years later.
Hey everyone do those international and peterbilt and gmc and kenworth and Mack fire trucks got a cb radio in it too like the regular big trucks or not? That way so they talk to all the big trucks on channel 19
