LAFD retired. we wouldda put 20 people on the roof with fire already venting thru it, and still tried to put another 20 inside. then wonder why we hurt or killed someone for something that already was a total loss. you guys did great.

I'm just glad (and hope if it was a work day) that everyone got out ok! my thoughts are with the Owners and employees of Champlain Beef who are now out of a job as its a family business handed down through gererations thats been going since the late 40s ...also the buissness's they supplied too as it will have an obv knock on effect to them as well! I do hope they have enough insurance to cover this and rebuild etc it will take time! I hate it when i see a long standing local family business like this burn down ( seen a few on YT) they dont have the backing etc of a big company such as chain stores, big supermarkets that have fires they are on thier own!
