A great part of the country. In 2019 there was so much river sand banked up as we came into the crossing and we could drive across rocks to near falls. It is a gorgeous spot. Great drone footage! Leichhardt is pronounced Like hart. 😉
WOW this is fantastic. Great drone footage on the Savannah Way and Leichhardt Falls. Loved the eagle pic!! What a fabulous free camp. You 2 are living the dream. I’m looking forward to next Sundays video. I dunno if I’ve spelt that waterfall right!! Have a great week and safe travels.❤
Had friends stay there and saw a saltwater croc there, i wouldn't swim anywhere up there, after floods the salties could be anywhere, even that far inland. Burdenkin Falls Dam is nearly 70klms inland and there are large crocs in there (signs everywhere too)
Hi guys, "Leichhardt" is pronounced as "Like hart" as in Ludwig Leichhardt the explorer, after whom the Sydney suburb is also named. We hope to do the same trip maybe August/September.
99% of the time we felt safe. We only had it once where some guy was swearing and driving up and down. (We thought there was going to be trouble but we just pretended to be asleep and he drove off) 🤩👍 that’s exciting guys, safe travels and enjoy every second ❤️👍
We read there’s fresh water. We noticed that no one swims at the bottom of the falls but lots of people have a dip in the top pool… someone has messaged us since and said there can be Saltwater there… I think we will be more careful now 🤩👍
Great video again guys. I am still anchored home (freezing) in Vic thinking the north is still in flood? Is this video recent? Off road caravan do-able? Was up there a couple of years ago but didn't do that section to Burketown. Are you heading to Lawn Hill? The Gregory? Parks are saying LH closed til September.
Luckily, we did Lawn Hill a couple of years ago, it’s still closed. Yes video is very recent, a couple of weeks ago, online it says some roads are shut but they’re open, road to Burketown and Hells Gate and Borroloola is open. We think it’s all doable with an off-road caravan 👍🤩
What a beautiful fishing 🎣 spot
Definitely one of the best spots we’ve been to 🤩👍
hi guys, it is pronounced like hart falls. cheers keep the wheels rolling
Thank you 🤩

Great vid guys inspired us to do a lap in the roof toppa. Where to camped on the way to Burketown looks fabo.
That’s awesome guys that you feel inspired to do a lap with a RTT, it definitely gives you a lot more freedom. Thanks for watching 🤩👍
living the dream.......why don't you guys book in with a local fishing guide and get some tips....
That sounds like a great idea…. I think we need it lol 😂
Great video BUT I have read reviews that say there are fresh and SALTWATER crocodiles in that water. I was nervous for you lot watching it.
