The glock 26 is my favorite pistol. I've carried a gen 3 since 2012 when I turned 21.
I always tell my family it goes with me to the grave.

When I buy a new gun I tend to run 250 rounds of 9mm NATO spec fmj.
It's basically +p spec so it loosens stuff up pretty quickly without having to spend much more than standard 115 grain range fodder.
By the way you have likly a gen 3. Possible a gen 2.5 if you bought it from 94 to 97.

I’m old and think the 1911 and S&W revolvers are still relevant today, but I have to say for me the Glock 26 is hard to beat.

I've owned my G26 gen 4 for 20 years, thousands of rounds with no malfunctions. My first love of the Glock family❤

Hi Ron, thank you for that data point, never a malfunction is what we all want to hear! I never recall having one with mine!

When it's too hot to carry a Glock 19... The 26 comes out. I had to shoot a running skunk at 40 yards that had sprayed us and the cabin... One shot with the 26. I love it.

Yup, in colder weather I carry the 19, and in summer the 26.

@@jodynorris6975 In Texas heat during the summer I carry the G26 because I can still conceal it well under a thin t-shirt. In the winter months I wear thick untucked flannel shirts, jackets or even a coat where it's easy to conceal the bigger handle on the G19 without printing like it would under a thin t-shirt. Maybe pull your head out of your ass and use a little common sense?

I have a Delaware concealed carry permit. Going to a certification class on Monday 9/25 for Maryland concealed carry permit. One of the instructors is a former fbi agent (30 years), I was sold when he told me he carry’s a Glock 26, it convinced me to get one !

I bought my 26 gen 5 a couple of months ago and have had it out twice thus far. I have shot 250-300 rounds with zero problems. I have 3 of those Magpul 12 round mags, and they are great! I like that I can use the same mags my 19X uses.

That is an awesome pistol bro, like I mentioned in the video, I have had mine since 2001. It has been a truly awesome and reliable firearm. I carried this pistol when I was doing a year long police undercover op back in the day, I definitely trusted it with my life. Thank you for the comment and for watching!

I remted this very accurate but a bit too small. The MP shirld is easier to draw from concealment but snappier

The reason i have a dislike for the 26 is that i have to get extended mags so It'll fit in my hand. This is just my OPINION, but i think having the standard mags in the gun thus causing the pinky to rest under the gun, could cause less control over the gun, and since i look at it like that, getting an extended mag is the same as buying the 19 with a but longer grip. Just do that. This is why, unless people really don't mind the short stock and factory mags with a tucked pinky under the stock, i can't carry this pistol. My wife has a G26 Gen4 and she loves it. That's why i bought it. For me, I'll keep my 17 Gen5. Thanks for the upload

I will not use the magpul mags for carry. Ive had feeding issues with 4 different magpul glock mags. I just put the +2/+3 pearce extensions on my 10 rounders so i can continue to use my factory mags.

I’ve got two 26’s that I’ve owned for many years. I’ve only used Glock magazines in it and I can say in all honesty I’ve never had a malfunction of any kind. I haven’t kept a round count but it has to be over 10,000. Great video sir.

Carried a Glock 19 for a number of years OTJ. In retirement, I traded the 19 for a 43X. How ever my Gen4 26 is going nowhere & will stay with me for the duration.
