Light Rock Fishing Anglesey North Wales

light rock fishing north wales - On the last day of our fishing trip to North Wales we decided to fish from the rocks with out light rods lrf style to put them to the test against some of the big wrasse that can be caught amongst the rock of this deep water mark.
We managed to get a few wrasse with a couple of surprise big ones putting a nice bend in the rods giving a good fight on the light tackle.

Nice fishing day mate... anyways i’ve been there 2x but do not like going down in the high cliff rocks. Is there any good fishing spot in the area were no need of putting too much risk of falling from the rocks?

Thanks Ian. The second part of the video the rocks we are fishing off are at the start of the breakwater on the left hand side they aren't as high as the first rock mark.

You can fish the inside of the breakwater as well Ian. Walk along the breakwater - it's flat and easy to walk. Plenty of fish variety as well.

I use this reel and seem to have big problems reeling any fish in.. when reeling it locks and isn't a smooth spin, anywhere in Newcastle/North East i can take it

What size of weight and hooks Were you using ??

Hi Chris the jighead weights with the hooks cut off were 5g and the ball weights were about 10g. The hooks were size 12 and size 8.
