Not quite, well, you can manage to perhaps get a few men in there if you move your unit close to it, but I've not seen civilians utilize them? I'll have to check closer this weekend. But tbh, the palisade is godly, it blocks the enemy, but your archers can fire through it. The watch/garrison towers extend the range to which you can build your palisade. But don't attempt to encircle your city with it unless you double layer it all the way around, otherwise the game will think your entire city is the manor and won't let you click on your usual buildings. Pretty new to the game tbh, but that's what I've observed so far.
@@AgentGB1 If you build the manor first on the site where you want to build your city, and then encircle the borders of that town with manor fences ONLY in the manor build menu without committing to it, and then build up your town first and commit to building the fences last, your town will be encircled with the palisade fence, and you will still be able to click on every building.
Fighting in towns is so difficult rn, getting any sort of flank or even just moving sometimes is impossible with current pathfinding lol
