After a successful day on Athol hill the day before, me and Piers decided to try and find some new (to us) trails over on the Hermitage hill just across the glen.
We made some very nice discovery‘s indeed, and will be coming back for more in the future. All top off with a nice swim in the river to cool down at the end of the day👌 - กีฬา

Fair play on the tough line on Life Insurance. Was a little slippy when I was there and I couldn't bring myself to do it, just couldn't stop looking at the drop off the edge 🤣

I am really amazed that you can even see the bike trail when you go thru the forest area, the ground color looks all the same... Nothing like a freezing swim after a hard bumpy ride on those trails...thanks, really enjoy your vids...USA here... 😎😎😎
It was definitely a bit of an issue on this one, especially because the ground was so dry.

Great ride on Life Insurance. I once tried Extra Cover and Life Insurance in the wet and it was WILD; there was no way I was going down that shute; but will be back for a go sometime in the dry.
I suspect it’s a much more difficult in the wet. I’m glad it was dry for me👍
No video can do that chute justice. It is properly high consequence!
Some skilled riding there Andy, especially that double take on the steep techy section, been there years ago wandering and always wondered about that trail at Pinecone Viewpoint, you're brave doing that swim at the end looked cold 😂 cheers for sharing 😁🚵👍

I like those forest vids of yours - they are closer to what I know. The highlands / munroes are spectacular, but they all look a bit alike.
That’s fair, although some of the mountains are quite unique. I thought these woods looked great on camera👌

i love the hermitage, its my favourite side of dunkeld. life insurance is the way to go.

@@McTrailRider yeah, its such a good trail. or though, i have only ever done it in the pissing wet, and that first feature has always gotten the better of me.
As where I live in the West Midlands only has pimples, canals and old disused railway lines. What sort of travel do you think would suitable when I finally get the chance to drag a mountain bike kicking and screaming to Scotland?
I wouldn’t stress over suspension travel to be honest. It’s more of a factor for speed than it is for terrain in my opinion.

Those trees have all sorts of branches sticking out like spikes. Hate when a tree jumps out in front of you. I seen it in other videos. These are the treebear species.

I’ll give you dangerous, but I can think of more boring roads than the A9 - and the views are good (when you can see them).
Fair point, but I’d say there’s way more interesting roads than there are more boring than the A9. Outside of motorways anyway.
