Oberon's trait only affect Merlin specifically. There isn't a "Merlin" trait so Lady Avalon is not affected. Seems like an oversight, or Oberon just really hates that version of Merlin.

Another note about oberon for koyan looping: if the DPS's battery is 6 or less, you don't need a superscope or their append. Pop the battery turn 1, and it'll be back by turn 3
It should be noted that he can black grail farm, but you’re still going to need another 50% charger with split batteries and obviously his damage still isn’t the greatest. Then again you use what you got or what you love
As an NP3 Oberon haver I do this. The problem is that his damage on Turn 1 is terrible since you need to keep both supports on field, meaning that the second Koyanskaya can't give him her Buster buff. Also Pretender class absolutely sucks. I love the concept of it (especially since I love Oberon), but it's arguably the worst class in the game. If a node has any Knight type I can't expect him to perform without Face cards (unless obviously very low HP enemy) and obviously when that happens his NP demerit is very much a huge issue.
Just a tip for those that don't have the broken buster AOE Servants like me, as well as no Koyan, Oberon's 3rd skill is extremely good on Arash for wave 1 if you're not using a buster DPS since he clears the wave, takes the funny debuff down with him, and lets another support come in
It really can't be understated how good that NP amp is outside of buster comps. I lucked my way into NP1 of him and spishtar on my JP account where I dabble. Between those two, and summer Vinci who we're going to get soon, I can three turn almost everything outside of 90++ with just a borrowed castoria. And I can even take a pretty good crack at those nodes as well. I'd argue it's even more impactful outside of buster teams where you're usually running black grail, which to my knowledge is also amplified.
A really good comp is Habetrot + Looper(30/50% charge) + Oberon and a 50% charge sup(other Oberon if 30% on looper) Using a MC with 10% charge. it allows you to 6-slot farm with Buster servants or servants with terrible refund as the main looper. for most nodes outside of events it is way better then using double koyan with plug oberon since it allows you to use 6 bond bonus CEs and no need to have your own would copy of him or koyan.
Morgan is also awesome for Multicore teams with the own 30% Battery with a Charisma+Def Down and a 20% battery/npgain targetable, usually if not used for the final wave, can be used for the first if without niche.
When meta expands. So does my space Ishtar's arsenal of tools and powers. Especially Oberon as originally i wanted her to get an extra color buff on np but Oberon just makes the np damage boost even more insane than it should be. From my experience with oberon on na. I hardly ever use his third skill except to flex and that's pretty much it. Even when im using my buster unit for some reason. The first two skills do enough work for my account. Same with how quick oberon was rising in bond. Had to put a hard stop on that before he got past 7 as i did not want to bond grail him. Though I'll never give up my arts team ever. Even when castoria hits bond 15 that's when xu fuu comes in a year or so making for another year of arts farming and keeping Oberon on the bench will only make that easier for me if i can play that long. Cq wise it's perfect for rushing a qp especially nero fest ones i had a blast posting them to show I don't just bark i bite with my combos and luck. Glad my passive aggressiveness and straight hate towards the evil duo of a dog and bug got me both of them. Though im more annoyed at getting chinese sakura and male trustan on their banners. Guess they respect me actually paying attention to these lunatics antics.

NP1 Lvl 94 1k+ fou Oberon is also my mainstay DPS for daily farming Knight class, cant wait to MLB my Kscope and up his NP level to see even more ridiculous numbers
He can run BG with frontline of Waver/Reines, he, Koyan, and plugsuiting Koyan 2 only on Wave 2. Unleash his skills 1 and 2 and atk buff of 1st support on wave 1. Ofc, koyan buster. Wave 2, use Koyan 50%, plugsuit out THIS KOYAN for another one, more 50%, also her buster buff. Wave 3, his skills are back from CD, either Waver or Reines can clear the 30% remaining. Skill 3. Booom! Good stuff. Losing 1 buster on w1 4 a weaker atk up is sadge, but BG usually makes up for it. Farming bells and fairy dust on that lv84 node with a np1 Oberon, it never fails(dunno if can be universal on lv80/90 neutral class...prob not on np1 lol).
@@neonnemesis3267 heck, if you're having trouble with wave 2 you can hit it on turn 2 when maxed (5 turn cooldown ftw). But yeah doubling that anti-debuff boost makes him broken as all hell against anything that isnt debuff immune.
Not really, 49k base damage is more than enough to 6-slot farm daily nodes. Be it with castoria looper and her. Or habetrot oberon and 50% charge sup and BB as the main looper.

Without any other supports owned, Oberon changed my farming setups from multicore kscope and imaginary element teams to BG and 50% CE teams. I am cheesing no longer.
does anyone actually use kscope with KKO? i've never heard of that, and it kind of misses the point of koyanskaya since you're not even using the battery twice
Yep, Cú caster 80% battery does benefit from the CDR, he wants to pop it twice and BG straight up gives you more damage since you don't need any extra charge. I think Melusine works the same.
I got extremely lucky to get Morgan NP5 with 450 SQ and oberon at like 60 SQ and NP2 vitch for 150 sq The buster looping farming is just way better against weird wave set ups which is a bit hard to do with Arts as the refund won't be enough. Not to mention, it allows already existing Buster NP's with some skill that gives NP battery able to buster loop too. (OG saber, Arjuna Alter, Spishtar (although imo she is better as an arts looper), Okitan Alter and more.
I ended up getting np1 Moth, np 2 'bunny girl' and np3 grumpy sabre from these recent banners... I kinda wish I had known Morgan would work with lower np levels when you use oberon. I was having a hell of a time trying to get solid damage out of her at np 1 so I ended up pushing for np 3... which *hurt*
Oberon is definitely not the best multi-core support in the game. Castoria is still way better there. The majority of good multi-core attackers are arts. She might have 20% less for one target, but the 10% for the other one comes up very often. 30% plus the append and their own 50% battery means that she offers a lot more flexibility for multi-core support. The arts buff can also make up for the -20% by boosting refund. Even if you want to make the argument that Oberon's damage boosting is bigger than Castoria's on its own, you have to remember that her NP gives the team an extra 30-50% attack as well as a boost in overcharge level. Assuming you aren't running any NP damage buffs, Castoria at NP1 gives you 50% card and 50% attack, whereas Oberon gives you 50% card and 60% NP damage. Similar numbers, but Oberon can only enable that large boost on a single turn. Castoria doesn't even need help getting her NP half of the time because her append and S1 give her 50% off rip. Lots of multicore servants give team charge, and some event CE's have starting charge, meaning you'll rarely have to strain to get that NP if you need it. All that being said, I appreciate that you acknowledged multi-core's usefulness. Most NA people are so addicted to single-core that they have no idea what works best in 90+/+.
For Oberon's NP damage up boost buff on his S3, do all the NP damage up buffs need to already be on the servant for the S3 to multiply them? Or can it multiply NP damage buffs that are applied after it? Basically, does the skill order matter for Oberon's S3?
Not 3t 90++ doesn't mean u cant farm them, is still more efficient to farm 90++ even with just 5 CEs, no need to obsess with 3T, come on. Just 1-2 more turns is still alright and usually these events have a dmg CE, rather this than waste ur wallet
I was just about to ask if 90++ nodes had some sort of enrage mechanic that unavoidably wipes the party if you don't clear it in 3 turns, which is the impression one gets from hearing youtubers talk about them.
Cool video honestly, but calling Oberon a better multicore support than Castoria is just wrong imo. Castoria has a higher AoE battery and partywide NP gain buff. Her charge synergizes way better with 50% battery servants who are there to simply kill one wave hence don't need the refund either. Depending on the supports she can even fire off her own NP if needed for the atk buff. Heck even Tezcatlipoca could be argued a better multicore "support" (kinda stretching the definition here tbh) than Oberon because of his 30% AoE battery.
Oberon is only better when using habetrot. Castoria+ looper and a 50% charge aoe is better for 99% of the nodes. Since you 6-slot with only the frontline and less restrictive comp. ,remember that touhou farms stuff with 3 kscopes so not the most reliable when talking about daily farming.

If you are using arash, just use habetrot instead since she is better.

Funny enough thanks to Godjuna NP2 I rarely even need to use Skill 3 to clear the current 90+ nodes, I just use the chargers.
The fact that double Koyan CD reduction enables his S1 to be recast during turn 3 on top of Turn 1 S1 makes it even more absurd
