Respectfully, Sen. Lee's arguments on aid Ukraine are contradictory. Standing up for people fighting for their families, homes, and country logically only strengthens the concept of securing our own borders. Sen. Lee should recall a primary tenant of President Ronald Reagan - Each bill should stand on its own merits when he advocated the line item veto. That said, the provisions for fiscal responsibility and prevention of corruption in providing that aid introduced by Senator Lee are to be praised. In the end, the USA should be a reliable ally for efforts to establish and preserve freedom and to aid others, as we are able, to protect their families and homes.
