How is the camera quality? Is that comparable to other great camera slab phones?
@@faisalratul8778 I've had Motorola's for a long time unfortunately I can't answer because I'm no photography expert, to me average Joe I don't see a difference. I even have the hasselblad true zoom and to me having 10x optical zoom was great. Looks like Google and more reviews may help.

I got my Razr Orange Spritz today. I’m definitely liking it and I rather keep that 300 in my pocket I took some of that 300 I saved and paid two years of insurance so I think I came out on top

I nearly bought the Razr 40 Ultra last year but opted for the Razr 40. I wanted to experience the phone and make a decision before forking out extra money for the Ultra version.
It's a pretty good phone. Great features.
But I'm glad I held off as the larger Razr 50 external screen size is what I was hoping for. So this year I'll get the 50 Ultra (aka Plus).
I'm glad that always on display is not a permanent thing because all it is is a battery waster

I love razr+ 2023 so much. It just got a new android version a couple days ago and has a lot of new features. But the 2024 is calling me. I'll prob pick it up a bit down the road when deals are going on

Dual screen phones are finally here thanks to chips like the Dimensity 7300X. This chipset is really an impressive one in terms of foldables like the Moto Razr ones.
Motorola doing a good job recently
They both look great, but the telephoto camera, 60 FPS 4K recording, 512GB storage and more powerful processor are more then enogh in my eyes to justify the jump up to the Ultra - which I just preodered a few days ago. :)

How likely are these versions to have screen durability issues, I see on T-Mobile that Motorola includes one free screen protector replacement, but what exactly does that cover? Are there still lines or black dots expected in these or cracks?
Its the screen protector that cracks down the middle where the bend is. Not the actual screen. So sadly you do need to replace to factor screen protector.

I just bought the razr today after my iphone broke. Unfortunately i got the wrong model! I wanted the Razr+ so i'll have to exchange later this week. Anyhow, i'm still impressed with the base model. It's a cool nifty little device. It's not as snappy as i want and initially i was worried because it was choppy opening some menus. It seemed like it just needed to "run" and its been as snappy as can be ever since. Still, the + is faster. I do enjoy this phone and cannot wait to get the +! If contemplating over the base model, it's still a worthy phone.

Motorola has always been good in hardware, but it's the software where it's far, far behind. There are tons of moto flagship still have not received Android 14, and as of flip phone they still far behind samsung in terms of optimization

Just regional name differences
The plus is the term for the north american market; whereas the ultra is the term for the same phone in the european market

this is looking more and more better to me than flip 6 if samsung dont give me a great trade in from flip 5 to fold 6 im flippin to razr i like that front screen is bigger and can add apps ect to front screen vrs flip but i would hope theres a front screen protector for the razr+
The flip series can definitely add apps to the homescreen.

It's only worth it for the Ram alone. I.e assuming AI would take up a lot of space in the near future as it's being touted.

I can never understand the screen refresh rates? So if I text or watch TH-cam, which one is better?
Refresh rate is like, how smooth the image on the screen is, and is essentially the maximum frames per second that the screen is capable of. Lower refresh rates make it look 'choppier', so to speak. For texting, you probably wouldn't notice a huge difference between 60hz and 144hz, because there isn't much movement happening. In a video, in a game, or when scrolling through a social media feed, you would notice a difference if you saw them side by side. This might be a hot take in the eyes of gamers, but I would personally say that 144hz is really the maximum bang for your buck with refresh rate. Anything higher and the human eye doesn't really see much of a difference. It can make slight differences while playing games if you want to look at input and hit boxes down to the millisecond, but for the average person who wants to enjoy their phone, I don't see a reason to pay more for anything over 144hz.

Hey now, last years RAZR JUST received Android 14 😂 they'll get updated just... Almost a year later.
ok so i found out its not all to do with motorola these updates are controlled by google because its android and thats google ect so companys like moto samsung ect have a fee to pay and the updates are done faster ect so motorola dont pay this. and im sure helps with price look at flip 6 over a 1,000 like 1000,50.00 razr u can use apps ect front screen not samsung. razr full front screen on plus not the flip

I could care less that this mega corporation has to pay Google, they should pay up. It's still Motorola's fault that they take forever to update their phones like it's 2014.

That RAZR has been truly disappointing - Since January FW update, must open the phone to use Google Assistant properly, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in July - that 25% of a phone's typical use life a critical SW function is broken. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.
