So we should ignore the minus?
No and yes
Nice video sir
You are welcome
Understand the concept of resolving and finding the resultants of current coplanar force.
😊
Sir why u take positive value of fx when calculated tan theta?
you can just take value of fx as positive but u have to specify within brackets with left arrow key....so ans will be 68.406(
Sir what It is not inclined at the horizontal axis, what will be the vertical n horizontal?
You either use the value given the same way, knowing fully well that upward force us positive and downward force is negative
Nicr😅
Thanks
70 cos 40 is 53.62
Okay
West to South angle is 45 degrees
It was stated in the question south west 40°
Why did u not resolve the 50N force
We don't resolve vertical and horizontal force
While calculating x component of F There is calculation error. 70× cos 40 =53.62311
Thank you
70 cos 40 = 53.62
That's what I'm also getting
70cos40 = 53.62
I thought I was wrong
yeah n u truly speaking yey
Isn’t fx calculated by sin value not cos?
It depends on the angle it is inclined to
The direction should be 270+44.67 = 314.67
You don't have to do it that way again since I have resolved it ( resolution of force). 😊
If I didn't resolve the inclined forces then what you said applies. I appreciate your comment❤
That between west and south I don't understand how the angle is 40°
It will be given
Watch and listen carefully
50 N had no a vertical trig ratios..😢
As in. What are trying to say
I think the direction of the vector is incorrect.
Your reason
I think it should be 180-the angle gotten since it should be taken from the positive x-axis,Is that your reason please?
The direction should be 270+44.67= 314.67 degrees on a three digit bearing order from the North pole
So we should ignore the minus?
No and yes
