    Your workshop is not messy.
It is a working studio that makes me want to visit.
I love tailoring and am trying to learn more from a master tailor, a friend of mine.
Yes, it truly is a work of art.

It is nice to see a Mr. Mahon (a craftsman) enjoy the outcome from his creation. Also, from the US as Calos Mena although from the other coast.

Your videos are informative, perfectly presented and entertaining- thank you. I have a couple of questions; if I wanted to have a dark navy 3 piece suit made that I could use as a three piece, a two piece, a coat and trousers separately, say for an all year round British climate (yes, a bit subjective, I know) what cloth would you suggest? Secondly, I have read that a coat sleeve should end at the wrist bone and the body of the coat end at the center knuckle of the thumb. What are your thoughts? I would favour the traditional British cut of suit. Thanks again for great videos. I love the insights into tailoring, the craftsmanship and experience involved and the characters you have come across. I hope your work in the university will help maintain traditional standards. Good luck with your American trip.

*17oz CLOTH* why can people not get it that light cloth, 200 Super is not the be-all and end-all - a good heavy cloth that drapes like water and lasts forever...

Mr Mahon, I want one. I am interested. Simple Elegance. It is an Aston Martin or A Bentley.

British tailoring I a little too militaristic for me. I wore a uniform for 4 years. I don’t want another one. I prefer Neapolitan tailoring since it isn’t so rigid and blocky.

it looks like hardly a 8/10 suit to me...
    for several reasons not perfect...
    1. the lapels are so low set and so diagonal that it breaks the idea of a batman/dracula silouette and it makes it look old.
    2. the breast pocket is not covered by the lapel and it shows all corners.
    3. the front buttons are way too close to each other. and the buttons don't contrast that well on the suit. if they are some good material, that is better./
    4. the jacket just looks so heady and puffy at the top, definitely LOTS of layers and canvasing, which to me is a big dislike, because it doesn't fit to the body's shape, but it contains the body in a fixed shape, like a doll.
    5. also the lapels - they are slightly rounded but it is quite visible. lapels should be straight both on the outside edge and the inside one and they should be completely seal tight around the chest. not gap and roll...
but yes, the buttonholes look nice, the lining seems well made, etc etc.
