- We only had 2 days in Krabi so we went straight to Railay Beach to enjoy the majestic limestone cliffs and white sand beaches. There are no roads, no cars here, just footpaths and longtail boats. Once we got here, we didnt expect to find...so many interesting things.

I was born in the U.S. When I was 2 years old, my parents brought me back to Thailand. I grew up in Thailand (BKK) since then, until I finished college. After that, I decided to move to Los Angels, where I had worked and spend my adult life. I occasionally visit Thailand every other years during my vacation. Overall, I spend half of my life in Thailand; another half in the U.S So, I get the good and bad bits of both Eastern & Western world. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. It all comes down to what kind of life that we want. The reason I've mentioned about this is because of the fact that u guys seem to fall under similar circumstance. You guys are eligible to live in both Thailand & Canada. I've come to a conclusion that, in order to maximize this privilege, be best not to choose at all. If you guys can solve the way to earn income issue; then, planning to establish the bases in both countries seems not such a bad idea. Do the seasonal migration just like the birds do.
Thanks for sharing, Ben! We're grateful that we have options for where we want to live - Thailand or Canada. We agree one isn't better than the other! Right now, we're really enjoying Thailand so we'll stay until we want to go somewhere else :)

"Since ancient times, Phra Nang (Princess) Cave has been where fishermen, before going out to sea, have made offerings to the symbolic Phallus of Shiva (known as the Siwaleung or Palad Khik in Thai). The fishermen, who say the cave is the home of a mythical sea princess, believe their offerings will bring them success in their fishing and protect them from danger, but what is more remarkable is that the cave contains a large collection of carved wooden phallic symbols, offerings and other objects believed to help with fertility. As a matter of fact, it's now a place dedicated to fertilty where couples come to pray for success in having children."
And now, it seems it's also used to find love...

Hi, I was up at the view point and also to the lagoon in 2017. It's an adventures climb but well worth it. You need good shoes to climb and specially to come down. I found your channel today and I love it.Keep showing us more nice places in Thailand. Good luck.

Really Like The Resort W/The Big Pool. When I Saw The Bug Spray I Instantly Thought Of The Other Video. The Ocean Water Looked So Clear. That Was A Big Lizard. So Happy Your Staying In Thailand For At Least ( 1 ) More Year. best Part Of The Video Was When Flora Made A Wish. Bloopers OK This Time. Excellent Job & Excellent Video
Thanks for your comment, Drew! That resort is super famous, called Rayavadee. Unfortunately not in our price range though, I think over 10,000 baht a night? Where we stayed was lovely and only around 700 Baht/night 😍

I went there few weeks ago and can't wait to go back to Railay again. I really love it there! I went to viewpoint and next time I will go lagoon.
It's such a peaceful and relaxing place (right now..). We've seen photos of how busy it used to be!

i searched youtube for video's of the lookout and lagoon. Thats an extreme climb going up and ascending into the lagoon. You made the wise choice to skip that. It would be cool to fly above the lagoon and descend into it with a drone
We were so sad because we couldn't find the lagoon with the drone 😅

After Krabi there is a Crystal lagoon about 50to60km on the way to koh lantha if I m not mistaken...it's a nice place....take care. Et

You were very lucky to get on that boat! We were there 2 weeks ago and had to pay for a private boat since there are almost no tourists who would join us - and paid 600 bahts🙈😅
We heard similar experiences from other friends as well. We were lucky indeed :)
EH!.. you guys made the right choice.. fellow Canadian stuck in lockdown Ontario... ayou should of gone up to the lagoon. ladders and ropes built there but not maintained but you guys look like you could make it down and up. Hopefully I get my vaccines soon and be back in the Kingdom. A drone shot dropping into the lagoon is my goal when I return for rock-climbing.. It can only be done when your inside.. chokdee krup!..

Ive been up that cliff to get to the viewpoint. It was a nice view from 2 different sides of the peninsula. The cliff is steep but not too hard to climb because theres lots of roots to grab or step on, will probably take 15 mins or 25 with slippers 🤣
We'll be more prepared next time!
