Thank you for visiting and making this wonderful video about our little beach here in South Bar....The sandbar and polar bear is our heart and soul here in South Bar. ❤
Wow that is such a good video!! I lived right by the Sand Bar and would walk my dog there daily! You brought back some heart warming memories for me girly!! Again god bless you!!
What a great little video. The stairs at Polar Bear used to go right to the bottom and we’re in pretty good shape back in the late 90’s, but the North Atlantic winter was hard on it… there is deeper water there off to the left, and many adventurous souls would jump off of the cliff about half way up the bank. It used to get so crowded that there would be no room for parking down in the parking area, as well as on the sidewalk along the highway. Some days it seems like a lifetime ago… but I remember it like it was yesterday
Another delightful video in this wonderful series. A tiny hidden gem.

Absolutely my pleasure
I almost drowned here as a kid! The ferry came in and the tide kicked up. For some reason, it wasn't traumatic. 😅
Oh wow. I can see how that would happen. Glad it wasn’t traumatic though! Merry Christmas to you.
My mom would take us to Polar Bear. We loved swimming there, would stay in the water until our lips turned blue and our fingers wrinkled.
Hi Barbara, Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Love reading the comments. :)
