Hello CR. Here at the Hellsport Mek Werks (spelled correctly, the founder was a former Steiner citizen), we aquired a few Bloodhounds from recently captured Mechs. It is rumored that they were taken as 'war prizes' from a Capellan unit engaged while under contract with House Davion. I do not, myself, know for sure if this is accurate. All I have been able to determine is that the Mechs were forwarded to the Stygia System from the 4th Legion, 6th Century, while on Contracted Deployment. Although both types of Bloodhounds were represented in the various salvage delivered, it was determined to build the original B1-HND Bloodhound. Once we had restored one to fully operational status, it was tested vigorously and compared with its own internal data storage as to how closely it performed to recorded metrics. The Mech was then torn down to its Endo Steel chassis. Even to the point of removing its Myomer bundles. These were replaced with TSM and the unit was rebuilt. The same amount of armor was placed upon the Mech, but of 'Standard' quality, instead of the Durallex Light armor. All three ER Medium Lasers were returned to the Mech, with an additional pair split between the two arms. The Beagle Active Probe system was reinstalled into the Right Torso, and a Angel ECM was added to the Left Torso. In addition, an AMS system was placed into the Center Torso, with its ammo and CASE II located in the Left Torso. The total of 14 IS-DSHS were retained, with 12 located within the Hermes 315-XL Fusion Engine. The remaining pair split between the side torsos. The five ER Medium Lasers are located in the Head (1), Right Arm (2), and Left Arm (2). The new unit was designated as the B4-HND-GL Bloodhound Battlemech. It should be noted that the Bloodhound has NO jump jets, and thus can only generate the usual amount of heat burden caused by moving at Flank Speed. Even doing so, however, with the addition of the weapons heat from the five ER Medium Lasers, the Mech remains very cool running. The 118.8 Kph movement speed at Flank Speed is very good for a Mech of its tonnage, and being an 'all energy build' if one discounts the AMS system, it is relatively free from logistics trains and can be easily resupplied with AMS ammo via combat air drop. Other than the Endo-Steel chassis, TSM, and XL Engine, the entire Mech is designed for ease of repair and replacement of the other systems. This includes the pair of heat sinks in the torsos, the five lasers, the probe, ECM system, AMS and its ammo bin. It is hoped that more such salvage arrives to be converted into the B4 variant as soon as possible. This Mech has a bright future as a fast harassment unit to support other units from close ranges, or provide maximum distraction from long ranged sniper units. Something I don't fully understand is why it went with a single SRM6-Streak rather than a trio of SRM-2 Streaks. That just sounds more efficient in terms of ammunition and being able to land more hits.
A couple of possible reasons. When it comes to the pulls of the trigger per ton of ammo, the three two's are better. If we count a pull the trigger as firing all three srm two, you get one more pull the trigger. Plus, two polls are left over for single srm two, so you get the fire once more after that, but only two launchers will fire. Since you are rolling 3 to hits, you will have rounds when you don't fire all your tubes. But they will be rare, and with a single srm six, it's all are nothing every round. Those are your advantages with three twos versus one six. And one six and three twos have the same weight. However, one 6 only takes up two critical slots. Whereas three srm two's take up three critical slots. The six will generate four heat when it fires. If all three twos fire, they generate six heat. So if critical space and / or heat are issues, you want the 6 over 3 twos. Hope that helps.
Looks like one of Michaelson's VTOL gunships with legs instead of rotors, but both variants are good heavy scouts. Although I'd drop the ER Smalls for almost anything else.
It doesnt look bad. Could be better, could be worse. I think what throws me off is the arms mounded just barely above the legs, but I do see the Zentradi appearance youre talking
That is hideous... From the line under the cockpit up looks like a helo or VTOL stuck onto hips arms and legs i mean seriously... the bottom half is made in a mech factory, the top at at a vehicle plant and they stick them together as final construction... What the books do not tell you is that one half is easier to build then the other... somewhere there is a warehouse full of cockpit units as the torso arms and legs are all built together seriously the the missile pod looks like the ones they stick on ground assault helos in modern day... the concept and and stats are good and i would use them but just use a different model on TT. streaks are so nice in long campaigns i do not mind having to adjust the load a little to squeeze them in just to not have to try and track down reloads.

"Visually it looks okay." - Have you been drinking over the Christmas break?
Heh, strides. Cause the legs.
Half the Mech is just...Legs
Look at the actual mini, it is just a weird design.
😂

It has legs, but does it know how to use them?
