I like watching you run loader, I can tell you have run one for a long time. I ran a loader in a gravel pit so I know a thing or two about running a loader. I could tell the other operator wasn't quite as experienced as you are by the way he stockpiled. We use to stockpile in 2nd gear and raised to boom about to dash height and as we hit the pile would dump the bucket.

@@nicsanta1928 I drove volvo before and I see now that there are 3 levers at the cat too. Its making me so angry to see why 3 levers for something that one can do. I had spasm after an hour of driving the volvo because for me the two levers were so unconfortable I thought I will go crazy. The Leibherr is a lot better. One lever. You push it up and down to raise the arm and left and right to tilt the bucket. Why do you put these two simple functions on 2 and 3 levers. To shit the gears you twist the handle hard. And there is a button you select to go forward or backward. Its super simple super safe.
@@Tokatt I'm sorry nobody have answered you yet. The reason to have one lever (Joystick) is beacuse it's easier to learn. This is good for rentals, and for machines that gets used to unload at a company. Therefor its easier for many workers to drive the same machine.
The reason for having many levers 2-4 is beacuse it is more comfertable and therefor creates less fatigue. There is also other reasons. When it comes to hydralic attachments they are more easely controlled with a 3-4 lever system. When you order a machine you choose how much hydralics you need. 1 or 2 channels. If you have 2 channels you will have 4 levers in total.
But you can also choose to have a joystick. But no professional worker choose this. Beacuse of the fatigue it creates and the hard use when you are using hydralic attatchments.
I believe almost all wheel loaders have the option between joystick and levers. Its just a matter of which one you choose. Just like when you buy a car. Do you want all season or summer tires?
Hope this gave you some more knowledge and therefor removes your hate for the brands Cat and volvo.

When I was very very young I enrolled in a mining course. We trained on 911 loaders. I technically got hired out of the course AS a 911 operator but when I arrived at the job site they had assigned me to the long hole blasting team. So I never got to drive the loaders and quit the job after about three months of isolated living with only young children and married women in the site camp. No issues with the job it was great but I cracked at the lack of females about thing. Most workers were at least 10 years above me.

Wow.. 16.6 ton on 4 axles.. In the uk we can nearly get that on 3 axles.. 4 axles we can get about 20ton.. I take it these wagons are not paid by the ton but by the load...
Chris J Ambler paid by hour for 90% of the time and somtimes by ton but then the truck drivers drive fast !!! Very fast too get the best pay
@@martinfherm3108 Driving fast is dangerous. The driver should be paid for safety which would be for his time. If he can't keep up a certain rate of delivery because he is milking his time you cull him.
