      Think most loaders with scales you have to give them a few warm up lifts before they tell u the weight lol

      Always gotta make sure everything’s working properly before u get a bucket full and realize u can’t dump it. I do same thing every morning in my dump truck, make sure the bed goes up, down, and tailgates all good to go.

      has nothing to do with warming up the machine you could cycle that bucket like that for quite a while we no significant difference in hydraulic temps maybe a few degrees if you watch it closely. he did it the exact number of times it normally takes to calibrate and zero out your bucket scale. but he is experienced enough that he alsp did it at a pretty good speed and was making sure there was no clumps in the corners of his bucket or any material stuck to the bucket. with stone aggregates like this quarry its unlikely but can happen and you want to make sure you have a clean bucket when you tare your scale out

    • @johnnyrebel11
      @johnnyrebel11 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      and you can tell he kicks er up a gear or maybe even two and turns on his ride control again to cushion the cylinders on the lift arm and bucket. this system, to put it as simply as possible because the way it works isnt simple, but it senses ground conditions and bumps and allows the cylinders to extend and retract slightly almost like a spring or an shock absorber on a car, and that helps not beat up the operator and the machine when traveling any distance or over rough terrain

    Очень интересные у тебя видео. Приятно смотреть на твою работу, как ты грузишь щебень, как выравниваешь дорогу или выполняешь какие то другие операции, чистишь снег. Неважно что ролики бывают одинакового содержания, самое главное, что их интересно смотреть. И если будет какая то возможность выкладывай по чаще. Удачи тебе во всем.

    Haha, when I saw that you've used that "rake" to clear the road... I was like, oh, we too should get one instead of changing knives every month... then I realised, that it's useless for us, because the roads where we could use it is equivalent to the surface of the Moon...;)) Care to share what's the rough average netto salary for this kind of job in the country? Thanks! I'm writing from NL. It's about netto 2200EUR over here, for an average starter salary.

  • @johnnyrebel11

    can i ask why is it normal in your country to run a dump body that is so shallow or short, and have to tow a pup trailer? rather than just having a full size dump body and putting that same amount material into the the truck? if its axle weights wouldnt it still be more efficient to have a 4-5 or even 6 axle truck instead of having the trailer? more components to break, more time and takes a more skilled driver to dump, and more maintenance and wear costs plus registration and insurance as needed versus just one truck? just curious

    • @niek956
      @niek956 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can setup a bucket level on some wheelloaders, if you push down the lifting joystick all the way it automaticly goes to the right level
      And off course experience in with the machine

    How come a lot of these trucks have the tailgate swung around to the side, then have a tiny piece across the back?

    • @ducewags
      @ducewags 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Hoggystyle43 Small truck beds, no tail gates and no covers. I wonder how rocks and windows get along?

    • @Dolomedesspider
      @Dolomedesspider 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The swunged around is the spreader gate, but in 9 of 10 loads the trucks will dump it in a pile. The "tiny piece" gate is harder - atleast for me - to translate to english, we call it 'schaktläm' wich is two words; schakt and läm. Läm=gate (on a truck, wagon, pup etc). Schakt=mostly everything you dig up with an excavator, examples: jordschakt=excavated dirt, asfaltsschakt=excavated asphalt, grusschakt=excavated gravel and so on.
      And the "tiny gate" makes it much more easy to see in to the truck bed from an excavator operators point of view if both truck and excavator has to be on the same level. Hopefully that answer could be for some help..
      And for those who thinks it's dangerous with the "tiny gate" when it comes to accidentally droping material/ rocks on roads... well, you're welcome to visit - in this case - Sweden and catch up with a dumptruck and check how much he/ her drops. Good luck! You'll will need it. It DOES happens though, but it's very rare. And IF you dropped something you'll be fined for reckless driving, and if that dropped material is causing a traffic accident you'll probably lose your driving license - all of them, even the license for 4 wheel car - for a long time. And without a driving license if you make your living as a truckdriver.. It will be some 'issues'...
      When it comes to cover the load, well.. I guess different countries different rules. Here the trucks can spray/ shower the load with water close to the scale/ weight out area of the pit. Usually it's enough and keeps the dust down until they arrive to dumping area because they usually don't need to travel very far with the loads, approx 5-40km (some 3,1-25miles away).

    Are Monthly salarys in this work good in your country??
    I finished this school degree,but in Croatia most companies with heavy equipment pay very low so you're forced to put alot of hours on Month so i was kinda forced to search for better job.

  • @DawesyD
    @DawesyD 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just have a question and not a negative remark…. Is this a demonstration on the equipment or a usual day work? It seems inefficient to drive all the way in, do two loads of gravel, drive out and do two loads of sand then drive all the way in and two loads of rock. I’m only at the 15 min mark.
    In saying that it’s really great to sit back and just watch you at work. I can tell you are very proficient at your work. 👍🏼
