10:40, you're hogging a passing lane, you're following people you don't know and you approached their vehicle. Legally they could've beat your ass and claimed self defense because you're the aggressor at that point. keep doing what you did and you're gonna cross the wrong person.
While i agree with pretty much all of your points the “hogging the passing lane” is a bit eh. To me it doesnt look like a highway though given the speed maybe it is? Where i live we have a road that cuts through the city the limit is only 80kmh and its a 4 to 6 lanes (it changes) where as the road that goes around the city that connects to the main highway is 100kmh, i guess my point is some roads look like highways but are not classified as highways. Sorry im sounding dumb, and please dont take this as an argument or what have you just trying to point out. Maybe the rules in the states are w ee bit different though i do know of the left lane being passing but i get confused because of the highway like road that cuts through my city but highway rules dont apply 😅

@@cara4078 I’m not sure of the actual laws but I’ve seen people arrested for it here in Texas. It has to do with bodily fluids possibly endangering someone’s health. But it’s considered a trivial offence.
Some states in the US do not have a duty to retreat. That means after being followed for a few miles and threatened, deadly force would be justified. There are a lot of concealed carry permits out there. Many states also don't require a permit inside of your property (vehicle included). Summary... don't chase people down- it's a good way to get shot.
That one where the guy used his push bar so gently to help the stuck driver in the snow was really sweet

@@adzz8012 "brake check" doesn't always mean intentionally trying to make them crash into you. A brake check can safely be a couple quick taps on the brake to let tailgaters know to get off your ass. I do it all the time and it usually works, unless they are clinically shit-brained. His was a bit aggressive but definitely not out of line

Yes and no cause when your taught to drive yes you have to keep an eye on everyone else but at the same time we tell new drivers not to focus on other drivers while driving because you can easily lose control if your too focussed on others new drivers struggle to find that balance of looking but not staring

We need to teach people to drive normal, focus on being a good driver first and learn to focus on everything else as you drive over the years. At some point, it just becomes second nature to focus on everything else and you don't even think about it anymore. I had to teach myself how to drive and I remember how nervous I was because I couldn't figure out how people kept their eyes on their speed and drive at the same time, then as you just keep driving, you just don't look at your speed, you flow with traffic, only checking every so often to be safe.

@@kikialeaki1850 yes your goal is to focus on everything but at the same time you shouldn’t focus on everything because that only makes driving harder you should relax and focus on the road and mirrors you can’t always worry about what’s going on around you because you get caught up, for example if I’m so worried about the guy behind me that I keep taking my eyes off the road in-front of me to watch him that could potentially be dangerous, you should take one quick glance and have it in the back of your head that someone behind you and to be mindful some people struggle with not focusing enough new drivers often focus too much and miss other things
@@B00STED.B that’s exactly what they teach: glancing and keeping things in mind. They want you to be attentive, not worried. If you’re an anxious person, it’d probably be harder for you but they (the course, manual and tests) are not as stress inducing as you’re making them out to be. You need a “hope for the best, plan for the worst” mindset, not an “oh my god, what if this happens) mindset. The instructor would probably see that and fail you or tell you to take more lessons.

But when the car insurance company adjuster called me about the what happened I found out that he had told them that I was the one who ran the red light. The irony was that we both had the same insurance carrier, so we each got our deductible returned to us.

Just a thought. I have a friend who bought a lovely dash cam to protect him from insurance fraudsters and be a witness in any accident. He actually got in an altercation on the road, and when they guy walked up to the car, he pointed to his dash camera. The guy reached in the window and ripped it out, and ran off. If you have a dash camera, let it be a surprise to the other party AFTER you are able to show it to a cop!

To oncoming traffic, low beams can appear to look like high-beams if the car is parked on an incline (facing up).
This is probably why auto-leveling head-lights should be mandatory (at some point) -- for safety reasons.
if I am traveling up a 6% grade and my headlights automatically lower reducing my visibility on dark back-country roads, that seems like its more of a safety hazard than a safety feature.

Last night, I found this channel. I went to bed three hours late, and this morning I'm back on the channel again. I'm obviously subscribed at this point. Absolutely can't get enough of these videos lol.
In my 5 years of driving I've never been in an accident, seen an accident happen, or experienced/seen any form of road rage. Yet I know I'll be prepared due to years worth of watching these videos.
Sometimes you don't even have to do anything wrong. When I was younger I was making a left onto a small road that leads onto a highway. Right before they left coming the other way was a bend and a car doing about 80mph in a 25. I didn't think anything of it, but five minutes later I'm grid locked on the highway and this guy comes driving down the shoulder to find me and act like a maniac about how I cut him off. These ppl have issues. All gotta do is smile back and laugh.. they get even angrier.

The one where the cop thought the brights were on is totally understandable. I do think when he said he had to go find someone who was racing was probably just to get away from the embarrassment. I make these mistakes too. Probably couldn't see the lights properly because it may have been too bright.

Yeah also kinda dumb that they saying he's just trying to fill a ticket quota. He came up was kind and respectful. Didn't say hey your getting a ticket or anything was just trying to let them know (to his knowledge at the time) that it looked like their high beams were on.
Watching these makes me realize how much I've improved my driving. I was able to predict exactly what was going to happen in most of clips. I strive to be a true professional Class A driver. Since I got my first speeding ticket just over a year ago I made it my mission to be the best driver on the road. Most road incidents can be avoided by just being vigilant. With enough patience and responsibility you can tell who is going to cut you off or even brake check you. Of course you can never be 100%. Believe it or not you can actually avoid being "cut-off" all together if you have the reflexes and spacial awareness.
And a lot can be avoided if the driver doesn’t feel the need to prove a point - the other driver may be having a bad day & didn’t mean to cut someone off, I’ve found I feel a lot better about myself if I give them the benefit of doubt & let them in

That stop was complete BS. The way your flashers work is that if the lights aren't working properly they will either pull too much voltage or not enough causing the sound you hear to speed up or slow down indicating that you have a light out. That was a bullshit stop 100%

He was right there, you must have seen him creep over?". #27 @ 24:24 I appreciate what the cop was doing. Even though the car didn't have high beams on (unfortunately a lot of people change out their bulbs for LED bulbs without adjusting their headlights causing them to act as high beams)
I drive home every night at 4am after 12 hour shift. So many a-holes drive with their high beams on and refuse to turn them off when I flash my lights at them. Even a-hole that follow me with high beams on. I wish there was a stiffer penalty for those who get pulled over for failing to turn off their high beams for oncoming traffic.
And if the girl had been paying attention, she would have seen the cop flash his own high beams at her and she could have flashed hers back, showing him hers were not on. Her car was probably just at an elevated angle at that large intersection which had her low beams shining a little high.
@@nickh5081 Yup. It isnt the cops fault she got pulled over she should've just payed attention to the road. Also the cop said all 4 her lights were on so she probably drove with fog lights on along with the normal beams so it looked even more like high beams.

The driver did what I would of done when being tailgates on the slow lanes when there are 2 other lanes to pass. I will gradually start slowing down to get you to get off my ass. The speed limit is just that, a limit. Anything reasonably below that is safe driving. You want to go fast move over to the passing lanes. Stop trying to tailgate slow moving vehicles.

Ok, I've been driving for 20 years. Most of which was for work, meaning I spent over 5 days a week, on the road for 8-11 hours sometimes.
I've been pulled over once, for my brake light being burnt out. I've never hit anyone, and I've been rear ended only a single time that was deemed not my fault.
The ONLY REASON that I have not hit anyone, or been hit by anyone, is because I'm ALWAYS WATCHING AHEAD. I care more about not crashing my truck than I do about proving who's right. And I'm hyper aware of all the regular stupid things people do, so I'm always looking ahead and predicting which idiots COULD impede me. If I get closer and it seems likely, I will let up on the gas.
I get out of idiots ways, or I use my horn to beep people and let them know THEY need to move or get hit by someone else. I will always hold my foot HOVERING over the brake in hazardous situations, entering intersections, approaching crosswalks, etc. Even if I don't hit the brake to slow down, I will at least let off the gas.
Directional momentum also has a huge impact on most outcomes, so being aware of how inertia works (either forward, backward, with the force or against it, etc) definitely comes in handy at being effectively preventative.

It was the muscle car that floored it, crossed the solid lines trying to go around the car in front of him because he was too impatient, nearly side swiped the cammer who had no place to go because of the construction zone, and then the muscle car continued to speed off INTO the marked off construction zone. That muscle car was 100% at fault for nearly causing 2 accidents: nearly hitting the car in front of him on the entrance ramp, and nearly hitting the cammer. The cammer never increased speed, that revving up was the idiot from the on ramp crossing the solid lines being too impatient. If this is how well you pay attention while driving, you need to stop driving, because you're a danger to others for your piss poor vision and perception skills.
