Excellent quality trail riding video of the KDX. I have one too. This video has great quality sound. No wind noise really, or clipping. I like the somewhat relaxed pace too. I will be playing this video in the background while I do other stuff because these are great trail riding sounds from a legendary bike.
These are some of the best videos on the KLX300r on TH-cam so far, still waiting for my Kawasaki dealer to get one in, I'm told mid November, I can't wait long xD anyway awesome video's mate keep it up!
220 with mods is my favorite KDX, although the fuel weight on the 89-94 is carried lower, that's nicer. 86-88 air cooled 1st gen powervalve engine is the best vintage air cooled woods bike of all time... probably my favorite trail bike ever although I don't own one...
Brings back memories. I had an 2002 KDX 200 and I regret selling it. What was the bike that was in front of you after you got on the KDX? Have a good one from west Tennessee
What GoPro or other camera are you using? The audio is awesome compared to the next video I just watched, LOVE that KDX sound! and 2-strokes in general... 4 strokes for me means street bikes only... if off-road, it's gotta be a 2-smoker!
The KDX powerband is mild compared to a motocross 2T powerband hit, no massive unexpected surge, but on a 200 especially, you can break traction in the woods when the meat of the powerband kicks in... These things flat out FLY... I prefer my KDX220R over the 200 personally, but only with mods (head modded, 200 carb or PWK35 Air Striker or Lectron 34mm, Pro Circuit Platinum 2 or FMF Gnarly Desert pipe, VForce3 or Boyesen reeds).
What is your sound setup PLEASE. Thanks man, and yes I will have a KDX soon. Was all set to get one this year but then a Tiger 800 popped up on the cheap.
@@themarcopolo. I got the 9 but still working on sound. How are you doing sound? I put dead cats over both mics and it's ok but I think Ima try the Rode Go! wireless setup. facebook.com/KingCast/videos/10219030303288107
I think you mentioned it before, but can’t find the comment. Where did you get your green number plate. I broke mine and cannot find a replacement. Did you order it for a older year klx?
Hey Tyler, I got it from eBay, you can just search “acerbis front number plate green” and you should be able to find it. I would recommend you to get the “green”, since the fluorescent green doesn’t match to all the other plastics that the bike has. Please lmk if you have any other questions.
He said that compare to the kdx it is “slow” hahaha and that it feels heavy. But when it comes to power I don’t think there’s that big of a difference, like in my opinion the main difference is the way they put down the power, I feel like the kdx is more aggressive, and at the same time I don’t think it’s a fair comparison since his kdx is not stock.
@@jessemacneil2723 Hey, Jesse, thank you for the reply. I was actually curious as to where they were riding, but I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Riding a two strong will make you a faster four-stroke rider . Facts
perhaps....if you SURVIVE!! 😆
@@RedboneUnincorporated Haha yea if people aren't used to the powerband . That's why no one rides me bike haha
@@jessemacneil2723 yeah, easy to get caught out if not careful!

It's a klx 300r he rides originally

Hello Brandon, sorry for the late response. This is a trail in SC. It’s called Parsons mountain OHV. Thanks!
@@themarcopolo. Awesome - Thanks!
It is weird to me that you did not ride two strokes first that is what we all started on addictive hey
The throttle is the one on the right
What’s a throttle? And what is it for?
Allen Edward Perez Mark Walker Laura
1993 engine noise
It’s not a kdx 200
Not kdx200
Its a kdx450 3 stroke
