I have this BOV on my car that came out from USA (I live in Poland). It's sounds sick. I also have muffler delete. It's a bit loud but still does a great sound together with this BOV.
I'm watching your videos because I want to get a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T eventually and do mods on it. Once I get the car, I will watch your videos to do mods on it.
Hey man just curious did you have to change where you routed the bov? Or does it work fine? I’ve been getting a p2261 code and have been told it might be because I routed my vaccum source to the same as yours! Just curious how your experience has been with it
I haven’t had any issues with it. Make sure you still have the original solenoid plugged in. Even if it’s being bypassed not having it plugged in will mess with the cars computer.
Hey Man! I just bought the TurboXS blow off valve after watching your video, i have the same year and model as you. i hooked up my hose just like you did directly to the intake manifold but the TurboXS stays open when the car is idling. I tried using the washers as well but it didn't do anything. Do you have any idea what i could be missing? Thanks
Mine doesn’t close at idle either even with a bunch of washers tried. It closes immediately when giving it some gas. I don’t notice any performance issues either.
@@VehicleEvolution I hooked up my BOV hose directly to the Vacuum line coming from solenoid (right underneath the BOV) and now it stays closed at idle.
Our cars use a MAP instead of MAF so it's normal to stay open. Some manufacturers recommend connecting directly to the intake manifold to bypass the computer controlling the boost.

300 whp stock turbo is the highest youll get. always best to custom tune no matter what and with a meth kit bigger turbo ngk one step colder spark plugs new injectors and maybe forged internals the block can handle up to 800whp

That’s how I have mine hooked up. Makes it more efficient but the BOV is there to release pressure built up inside the turbo. It’s not going to really aid in gaining any real HP.

Yup. I reached out to them about a possible sponsorship. Couldn’t be bothered to get back to me. Even if they said no I’d a paid full price and got it right from them. Their lack of response was kinda a smack in the face.
That’s the high pitch squeak when the HKS blow off valve cycles. I hated that which is one of the main reasons I switched it out doe the turbo xs. Turbo xs is more aggressive sounding.

How many washer did you put? And does it close at idle? Mine doesn't close at idle and i plugged it into the intake manifolds just like you.

No idea why. Mine is a 14 and it works and sounds amazing!

You need the mount adapter but you’d need that for any aftermarket BOV

You shouldn’t need a retune. Typically BOVs don’t add much if any HP

When I put mine on I plugged the hose into the solenoid but there was a kink. I don’t know why my valve wouldn’t open. Do you know why
Running it through the solenoid doesn’t give it enough air pressure to open the valve. That why I ran it right from the intake manifold.
I saw that it is possible to make it open from the solenoid but the hose is always kinked

It just vents to the atmosphere rather than recirculating through the air intake. I’ve run it both ways and never noticed a difference.
