I like your mission to wear through your samples. In a similar vein, I decided this year that I’d not add anything expensive to my wishlist unless I’d worn a sample at least three times. I keep a separate wishlist of inexpensive “safe” blind buys to satisfy the shopper in me. But it turns out that fewer perfumes end up on the ‘main’ wishlist by sticking to the three-wear commitment.
That's a nice month Pep. My surprise wear for the month was Rochas Femme. It was my first time wearing it this season and it's probably been like 6 months. I know the perfume well, but I was just so surprised at how much I enjoyed wearing it. Now, it needs to be in my rotation more often.
corsica furiosa was one of my first niche purchases and still is one of the most beautiful scents to me. love spraying it in the spring or hot summer. ambre fetiche is one of those fragrances that smells so different every time i wear it. some days it's very ambery leathery, other days it's more boozy bright, or it's more floral heliotrope soft.
My SOTD is Le Lion. I did go a bit crazy and sprayed so much because I figure I probably cannot finish my big bottle with how I normally sprayed. Surprisingly it smelled a bit more powdery in this dry, cold weather. Usually the labdanum is a lot more prominent on my skin. I really enjoyed the wear today! This couple of weeks I’m also rotating back to a lot of my heavier rose scents like Portrait of a Lady and La Fille de Berlin. They are so so good in the cold weather especially now I need to take a break on my ambery vanilla fragrances 😊
Bought the sample set from Mabelle O’Rama and have to admit all three of her perfumes have been the scents I’ve used the most in Jan: fallen for all three (although the new one Phoenix Flame is probably the one I’ve loved the most) Also got a sample of Rendez-Vous from Sonia Sieff, and been enjoying how strange but beautiful it is (the gunpowder - STRONG gunpowder note just works with the iris) Also been wearing a lot of Chanel’s Sycamore as I got a bottle just before Christmas! Overall been enjoying what I’ve been wearing. But cannot rave enough about Mabelle O’Rama.
@@TheScentinel The scents are spot on to her descriptions. Especially Lunar Dust. It’s not a cold scent or “clean” it’s delicate but a slight touch of warmth. It makes you feel like you are floating. Very talented perfumer. Excited at what else she can do. (And wow she sent the samples out within 20 mins of buying!!)
Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your January's favorites! In contrast to a Very Cold NYC, my most worn are fresh fragances, Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune, Maison Margiela Untitled L'au, Parfum D'empire Acqua di scandola & Mizensir Perfect Oud
I've been craving much sweeter fragrances than usual in Jan and I think my nose is going through a change, so much so that I've filled my Pafory calender with a load of sweeter, powdery fragrances to try. I've decluttered a few things that I thought were forever frags that I've just gone off! It's a wild ride 😂
@TheScentinel definitely. I've been pretty anti-sweet until now. And I also wanna smell rice accords after getting a rice cooker for Christmas. A whole new world
Hello Pep!!! Well this month as it was a birthday month and me entering a new decade sampled some Guerlain!! AN didn’t” work out for me . Enjoyed Cuir Beluga however that don’t come home with me either. Have a great weekend in Australia… I opted for Guerlain’s Peche Mirage for myself
Hi there! Nightclubbing and Angèlique Noire are so good! I also really enjoyed my Dans Paris sample too. But they are so expensive! One day I might just bite my tongue and purchase them when I am in a big itch! I finished up my 10ml architect’s club recently. It’s quite nice but not something I need a full bottle of. I haven’t tried Goutal Ambre Fétiche. Yes, a full review please! I love amber and incense! Would love to hear your thoughts 😊
Nice video with top brands such as Parfum d’Empire ! I’ll recommend to sample « Le Grand Jeu » or « la Couleur de la Nuit » from Voyages Imaginaires, the brand created by Camille Goutal (Annick’s daughter) and Isabelle Doyen, you’ll probably enjoy them !

I get quite a bit of patchouli from Le Lion as well
@ yes, now I understand why people think it’s similar to Coromandel. It’s the same patchouli to my nose.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try these fragrances and have a blessed night
Love your vids. Wearing adp colonia intensa to bed.
My only bottle from p d’empire is equistrius. Going to dig out my Corsica sample now!
@@rachelgrigg7189 lovely to hear from you, Rachel.
