    I know yall have probably learned this now, but when it comes to FL water holes if you see white or gray sand your good, hard bottom no need to build up speed. Its when you see brown or black it is going to be slick.

    18:15 I bogged out my Jeep in that exact same mudhole last year. After three hours of trying to self recover, having the sheriff's department come out and take a look, we had to call a towing service with a truck capable of making it down that trail to pull us out. That turned into an expensive day.

    Good job on the video man. Just wanted to say don't freak out about getting into camp grounds, the woods in Florida are vast. Ive camped in a lot of places from central Florida and even on east coast. Ive never been in that particular area that you were in but 90% of the time no one is going to mess with you for setting up in the woods down here.

    The last campsite you stayed at is called Wakulla Beach. I live like 2 miles from it. I'm surprised you didn't see anyone launching their boat out there. I've never even seen it empty.

    Just a quick thing I notices at 19:23 is that it looked and sounded like your entire rear bumper shifted on that pull... Might wanna check up on that if you haven't already

    What app did J use to book a stay at scooters haven? Timstamp 16:10. Great video by the way! I watched all of part 1 last night and loved it! This helps as I'm a Florida resident.

      Glad to hear it man! And Jay used "hipcamp" to book that site. Apparently it's like airbnb but for private sites. If you have questions about off-roading or getting in to it, shoot me a message on my Instagram and I'm happy to help with anything and everything you got! @bugout_overland

    I got a Jeep Cherokee WJ Quadra Trac 2 on 32’’ with a 4 ‘’ lift. Snorkel I live in South Florida. Do you know of any trails in South FL. I’ve had the Jeep for about a year, constantly doing improvements. I retired from the Army around 6 years ago. I picked up the Jeep because I really missed driving the Humvee in the woods. Anyways, great video thanks for sharing .

    Great job on the series. That Gamecock flannel is awesome. Where did you get it?
    Florida native Gladiator owner. Our trails get monotonous for sure. I could tell you were over it. But it’s a fun trail in pieces. All in one can be mentally cumbersome though.
    Cheers

      @Bugout_Overland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol thanks man! Got the GameCock flannel on clearance at a Columbia Outdoors outlet. Absolutely love it! And yes for sure. The trails get monotonous when you ride them for 250mi a day 6 days straight, but broken up would have been the better route to go!

    Honest question, could a 2x4 with proper tires and just auto lsd do some of these trails?

    • @Bugout_Overland
      @Bugout_Overland  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would advise against it. You can do the majority of it I’m sure, but there are sections of trail that is unavoidable that a 2WD couldn’t make it through. The truck you saw us rescue in this episode was because he was 2WD.
