- 8-month-old Miya Rudd was found decomposing in her parents' home days after investigators began searching for the missing baby. The fact the baby had drugs in her system when she was born tells me all I need to know.
Isn't that cause for automatic removal from parents? Why was she in the care of those vermin?
@@piva1358 I'm former CPS, and no it's not... but that's just bc CPS actually needs a judge to sign off on the removal beforehand, unless it's exigent. And as sucky as it is, drug use alone typically doesn't meet that standard. Most of the time, a judge will grant it, but not always.
CPS will only say they were over worked and the baby slipped through the cracks. That’s their standard fall on the sword statement!

@shellos8 but they are overworked all over the country. And there would be no 'excuses' if parents did what they should've done. I'm not taking the parents side at all because the bottom line is they were responsible for the death of their child. You take care 🙂

Child "Protective" Services should be charged with her death. They had all 3 of her siblings meth was found in her system when she was born that precious baby should have been taken from these people immediately. The world blames you CPS

Child services is one of our most important government programs, I'm tired of the excuses of understaffed and over worked. There's no price to high to protect our children and the future of our world! Higher more people, offer higher pay.. do whatever it takes!

I thought the exact same thing. My baby is a similar age to Miya when she died, and all I could think was how many photos I have of him on my phone. It speaks volumes that the only photo anyone apparently has of Miya is a newborn photo. 😢

The system is broken as well as the court system. I'm in a battle to protect my grand children right now too in Kentucky and Social services has tried saying different orders the Judge never told us. Its a train wreck and this just gives you an idea of how an innocent child can get a death sentence because lack of workers and workers being properly qualified to do their job. If the person caring for the child dosent put the child first and Drugs are a factor some could die. Or all could.
All 3 people failed her wtf is wrong with these demons it’s crazy just drop the baby off at a police station hospital so many people out there would love to take care of such a beautiful baby
